I was a bit dubious when I ordered, but these are very good for reconnecting severed lawn mower cables.

Excellent bit of kit

Once assembled the unit seems to be very watertight but wiring it up is a painstaking business. Wires must be cut very precisely to length so allow quite a bit of time to get it all right.
