Criminology For Dummies

The book is easy to understand and has tons of useful information. I used it to make sure I got the "cop stuff" right in my own writing. Anyone who is writing a murder mystery will find this book very helpful. The explanations are clear and concise and it's a fun read even if you don't use all the information. It's also set up so you can go to the information you need rather than searching the whole book.

I bought this book to prepare for a victim advocacy course I'm taking and wanted an extra edge and this book does the trick. It's informative, interesting and a good read. I read it from cover to cover within a week and a half and retained the information thanks to how it's written. I highly recommend this book if you are interested in criminology or just want a behind the scenes look at how the criminal justice system works. I learned a wealth of knowledge.

Didn’t get to read yet, but I’m very interested so I’m sure I’ll love it! Cover had some minor damage but all pages are 100%! Interested in entering the law enforcement career.

This book is easy to understand and comprehend. I would give five stars if I felt it didn't repeat itself. It definitely did a couple times, just rewording same lesson. Didn't happen that many times but when I read that in books, I feel the writer/writers are reaching and trying to just fill pages. Even so, I learned quite a bit. I have really bad ADHD and I get distracted easy, but this was easy to pay attention to for long durations. I appreciate this book immensely. I haven't started my classes yet, but this helped me prepare for sure! Fantabulous!

This book has been really good at clarifying many criminal law concepts. This book was actually better than my Law Text Book. It recognizes where the reader will get confused, and it acts accordingly. Has really alleviated many frustrations and gray areas I had about criminology. Well written book!

Tremendous book! Excellent for those who are in the Criminal Justice field. It breaks every topic down in a way everyone can understand it. Recommend it a 100%.

has soooo much useful info. I got it to read before i started criminology classes in college. Well it has more info than some of my actual school textbooks. Very worth it. also breaks everything down so its understandable.

Very interesting and very detailed. Bought a used one, and it was still good (yay cause i can highlight and annotate with a clear page)

i love the book its perfect but srsly they need to learn how to send packages carefully, the book i got was bended in the front and effected the whole book, and i like to keep my things perfect

This book is great to learn about criminology however there are a few references to the American justice and law system. Overall, it does give a good insight into the topic

Very good for an overview and certainly good and easy to read. Its for "dummies" and the book will change this status
