VallejoRust Texture Model Paint Kit

This stuff is terrific. I used it this week to build a “beater” car with scuffed paint and heavy rust along the fenders and quarter panels. It is super realistic and easy to use. Add some brown pastel streaks on the roof and you have a great outcome.It truly has a textured feel just like rust as well

Looks like rust I guess you just have to apply it right , I wish they added a shaker inside the bottle becuase all the pigment is stuck at the bottom

I use this to add realism to nickel silver rails. I use 2 coats on the sides and they look like what a steel rail should look after years of exposure to the elements. It also works great on locomotives and rolling stock to add that not so new look.

Use this for model railroading. It’s a great product. I was worried the texture would be over the top. It’s subtle and effective. I’ve bought it a second time.

I love this stuff, it's the first time using it and not done any weathering for 20+ years and this stuff is really easy to use, and when its dry it does feel like real rust, amazing, I will be buying more from this brand also will be trying out the airbrush paints.

As an amateur new to painting models, I wasn't expecting much from this. I wanted to put a rust effect 9n my 1/10 scale RC crawler.As my photos show, the effect is actually pretty good. It's quite a dark, natural rust, but it looks great on Chrome. For other areas, I'm going to need to prime them first.I've managed to rust the rear bumper and a barrel that I've made out of a child's sweet container.A little truly goes a long way with this. There's enough here to last for a lifetime of scale modelling. A bargain for £4.99 at the time of review.I can most definitely recommend this.

I bought this thinking it would be more of a wash than a paint, but having played around with it; it really is a fantastic product.For anyone familiar with Citadel Paints, this is closest to the Typhus Corrosion technical paint, only much better. Whereas Typhus Corrosion gives you a more generic textured effect, the Vallejo Rust Texture seems to have a certain sheen to it that hints at a metallic, giving you a very realistic base for rusty metal.It can be thinned, but when using it as a base coat I personally don't think thats necessary. The consistency out of the bottle is fine. In fact if you're aiming to reproduce a heavy rust effect you might want to use a couple of coats to build up the texture (again, in comparison to Typhus Corrosion; the grains in this are much heavier).Highly recommended!

Fantastic product one the my favourite modeling mediums at the moment just can't stop using it, especially for my 1/6 mandalorian diorama just looks epic can't wait to try the rest in the series..

Environment Rust Texture 40ml (73.821)By Vallejo.This is another brilliant weathering product from Vallejo's environment range. I have always been a fan of Vallejo paints etc. I decided to try the more heavy weathering products on my current model build. The mixture can be applied with a brush to achieve very realistic results.I will certainly be purchasing more different varieties in this range very soon.
