I have given this book as a birthday gift to every 4yr old - 6yr old boy I know. The story and illustrations are perfect for that age.

I bought this book for the amazing illustrations by Leo Espinosa, but found a great story too... great job!

Fun book. My students are studying tall tales and morse code. This book was perfect. They are writing tall tales that include a morse code that must be solved. :)

Jumping for Jackrabbit!
An imaginative but accessible story with a delightfully modulated voice in dialect. The story shows how a person's abilities can lead to success, even in the face of changing times and technology. Delightful pictures, as well!

Clever, clever, clever!! Oh and brilliant, too.
Lucy wrote one unique and fun story. I wanted it to keep going. Great artwork and verse. A treasure for all ages. Educational, too!

Nothing magical in this book. No fun word play. Young kids won't understand the point since it's talking about telegraphs
