Yes you can both flash and ring on incoming call. Ringer volume can be adjusted however it is designed for an office environment so it's not overly loud.

Can you make it change color when your Mic is muted?

Yes, you can change when Mic is muted.

Does this have to be plugged into a computer?

Yes. It plugs into your USB port.

I don't want to miss any incoming call, does it work with the laptop? I have Videophone for deaf customers to call in on my laptop.
