nuLOOM Alaina Indoor/Outdoor Striped Area Rug, 8x11, Black

Purchased 3 of the black rugs with the understanding that the pin stripe is an off white or cream. Definitely a light gray. Disappointed. The quality is very good though. Undecided if I will keep

I love the way this runner looks in my kitchen, but it measures 7’, 6” x 2’, 3.5”. So it is a full 6” shorter than 8’, and 3.5” wider than advertised. Beware if you need specific dimensions. It is also not really an indoor rug- it has the feel of an outdoor patio rug but I was willing to look past this if it was the right size.

It's gone through its first rain and looks incredibly good. Still have to validate its resistance to stain for the long term but for the time being, love this rug. Only thing I'd request is these be made a bit wider for the 7'6 x 10'9 sizing.And of course I included images and video with this review.Size: 7'6 x 10'9

This is one of those outdoor rugs that is attractive enough to use indoors. It is very useful in my entryway for several reasons: 1. It does a better job than a conventional rug of standing up to what people track in on their shoes (mud, water, dirt). 2. Heavy dirt and stains can be easily wiped off with a few swipes of a clean cloth and hot soap and water. Of note: Many outdoor rugs do not vacuum well because they have no soft pile whatsoever, so the vacuum rotator brush just grinds over them like a saw. This outdoor rug is hardy, but the top is smooth with some soft threads that allow the rotator brush to glide over it like a rug with close pile fibers. If you use this rug indoors and on top of a wood floor like I have, you will need a rug pad underneath, because it is, after all, an outdoor rug and it's underside is not soft, so it can scratch most surfaces like wood or even vinyl plank.

The rug I got is black with a stripe that looks taupe. First week with it so I cannot tell you if it will hold up, but it appears well made.Mine is under a semi covered front porch.I really like it!Nice price too

This rug holds up well against stains from water and is a pretty outdoor matt/rug. However, it is a thin rug so that is something to keep in mind as if it is windy you may have an issue with it blowing away which is the only reason to take one star off. The smaller one I purchased needed rocks around the corners to keep it from blowing away.

The rug is good looking and I'm assuming will hold up well but both the Amazon page and the printed label on the rug say it measures 2'x3'. I finally did see on the rug label in small print that all measurements are approximate. The rug is actually 27 1/2" x 35". Unfortunately, I needed it for a tight space of 26" and it wouldn't fit. It would be helpful to state on the Amazon site that these are very approximate measurements. If I didn't have size constraints I would certainly consider this brand again.
