Haven’t got to use it yet just got it. But when unpacked it felt like the nicest jump rope I’ve ever had in my hand. And looked great. Even came with some spacers to adjust the length of the rope. Very nice

I had been hoping to buy a more expensive weighted rope from a competitor because of all the bells and whistles they promise, but then found this one. It's well designed, and it's durable. You can use this on pavement, and not have the added expense of buying a jumping mat, too. It doesn't kink, has good mechanical action in the bearings, and feels good in the hands. And it's 1/4 the price of of the fancier brand that necessitates a gentler jumping surface. And after nearly two months of using this weighted rope, my cardio and overall endurance are noticeably stronger. It does what it's designed to do. How refreshing.

There are two issues with this rope that I wasn’t crazy about. First, there are rubber sleeves on each handle that are designed to give you extra grip, and they do, but they have a tendency to slide on the handles which is annoying. Secondly the rope tends to coil up which is also pretty annoying. I suspect that it’s because the PVC material is so thick. Probably not much you can do about that. I thought in time it would relax, and it has a little but not as much as I would have liked. If I were to purchase this again I’d go for the cotton rope instead which would alleviate the coiling issue. Update. Company reached out to make it right which I really appreciate. The cloth rope is so much better than the pvc rope. I revised my rating to 4 stars based on excellent customer service and the cloth rope. I’d have given it 5 stars if it actually weighed a pound but as you can see from the picture it’s a couple of ounces shy. Not a big deal unless you’re someone who is super particular. This rope is a decent weighted skipping rope. You definitely feel the difference from a traditional rope. There aren't actually any weights in the handles, but I suppose you could insert some if you wanted as the ends can twist off. The rope it's self is pretty thick quality feels nice. Becareful where you skip because the rope can scratch easy when hitting the ground but it still holds solid so far. The handles can get easily scratched too. I've used it for just 3 days or so now any they're already scratched. Other than that I love it. It's a nice red color.

Decent jump rope for the price. It did fall apart after a few months after using it frequently. I had to cut and reattach the edges until it got too short to use.
