Excellent jars

Are they basic Jars? Yes. Could you probably find them cheaper else where? Yes. But they were what I needed, and delivered to my door. The lid is not a very sturdy plastic, but I will be using a cloth and rubber band so that is not of concern to me.

May return or not. That is the question.
The description said wide mouth jar- so I thought a side mouth jar lid would fit. It doesn't. Now do I pay for shipping return and look for what I thought it was.

Major bummer
I paid for 4 jars, only received 2, and there is broken glass in the bottom of the box. Very bummed about this, plus i found the jars locally at a PCC for 4 bucks each.. I don't like paying for things I don't receive, or being ripped off..

Do Not Break Easily, Thankfully
At first I asked myself why I was buying jars. And then my husband really wondered why I was buying jars because I hoard them. But these have stood up to my 12 year old’s dishwashing, something few glass items stand up to well over time. And they’ve been very heavily used in all of my fermentation experiments. Four is just enough to make me think that maybe I need more but to get by on just one order. For now.

Just what I needed
Great size, very strong / thick glass for storing pretty much anything. I keep my coconut oil and other dry items in these. But will also use for sauerkraut later on.

Great gallon jugs
Nice gallon jugs at a good price. I use these mostly to ferment kombucha. They also pour out perfectly.
