This was a well priced product and was relatively easy to install. It’s quiet too. It does not come with an operating system but I used the recovery backup discs I made. My Toshiba did not accept the recovery file on thumb drive.

Works great as a backup drive in my laptop. Have M.2 SSD as OS drive

WD is the best HDD

Due to tight schedule I was not able to install the HDD, Almost after a month on installing found the HDD giving me I/O error, first time i have received some thing bad from Amazon.Had raised RMA with WD

The Hardisk seems Fake and doesn't work for meBetter to find other seller.

Received used 500GB hard drive instead of 1TB, date of manufacturing 2014, worst experience.
