Red Devil0986 RD3000 Advanced All Purpose Sealant, 9 Oz., White, Pack of 1

Was one of the few brands of Caulking that the manufacturer recommended to be used on the shower. Worked great!

I first used this for just picking up a tube of something to use on our popup camper. This stuff is the real deal. Durable, and easy to work with and bullet proof the next day. The one impressive feature of this stuff that after a month or a long period of time, I went back to an opened tube and plulled out the plug and to my amazment the stuff flowed and I was to every last bit of the tube. I did this a couple of times. How many times have you open a tube of anything and come back a week later and the tube is hard as a rock...well this stuff is the best.

This caulk was recommended by the manufacturer for its tub/shower surround to seal the seams between various sections of plastic sheet. After a few months, the surround is still sealed well and appears to be likely to stay that way. I also used it to adhere PVC molding to the tub and surround, leading to a very professional looking job with no leaks potentially damaging the walls behind.Unfortunately, since the tub and surround are pure white, the yellowing of the caulk is quite obvious. I used top quality silicone caulk in some other areas that were less critical for sealing and adhesiveness, and those are pure white and shiny like the PVC. I can see why the Red Devil was recommended, though, because the silicone attracts dirt and is softer. I would bet that the Red Devil will far outlast a similar installation using the silicone.

It was solidified in the tube, I actually broke a caulk gun trying to dispense it.

A little expensive, but it is one of the 4 sealants recommended by the application. A little tedious to clean up, but most silicone is.

It has been trying on my acrylic shower surround for a couple of hours, but it seem to be peeling..is it supposed to be peeling?????😳
