Are these completely blank? They looked warped in the picture. Do they lay flat?

These are blank document holders. They have the slits in the corners to hold documents fairly well and do lay flat. The only drawback is that the black dye used on these has a horrible smell. When I first purchased these, I thought the smell would dissipate over time. Well, it doesn't so I switched to another certificate holder in which I am very happy with.

Would this work for a 8x10 certificate or would it fall out?

I use 8x10 card stock with these. No issues
