As far as I know, these filters work well. The water tastes great and each filter lasts for at least three months, sometimes longer. BUT, make sure you check EACH filter before the return window closes. And I mean open each plastic bag that houses each filter and double check them for damage. I ordered a set of three at the end of November, 2025, and today, three months and two weeks later, I opened the box to replace my old filter, and ALL THREE filters were damaged beyond use; looked like they had been crushed at some point, with only minimal "evidence" on the box in which they arrived. And of course, the return window has long closed. I have been using these filters and the Life Straw "system" for almost four years and love it with zero complaints. I highly recommend Life Straw. I guess though, with quality control these days at all an all-time low, I have learned a new lesson: just don't trust anything or anybody and always double check my orders. Get these filters. They make water clean and good-tasting. Just check your order when it arrives!
