Alberto VO5 Tea Therapy Tea Shampoo, Vanilla Mint, 15 Ounce

We use this for shampoo and body wash in our house because it smells so wonderful and has excellent lather! The guys in our house don't think it's too girly and us girls love it!! It has a fresh, clean, and pleasant scent that's not overwhelming! It's nice to have something in the house everyone likes as opposed to 6 or 7 different bottles in the shower/bath!

I've used this shampoo once so far and it seems to have given my hair a bit more volume which I like. It lathers nicely and you don't need a lot to get it to lather. I have long hair, it's down to the middle of my back and I usually have to apply a huge glob of shampoo to get it to lather up enough and to wash ALL of my hair well. This shampoo I only needed a dab so that's a plus. It smells okay...I don't love the smell of vanilla but if you do then you should like the smell. Though the vanilla definitely overpowers the other scents. Overall I would recommend this and I would buy again but I'd choose a different scent. 99 cents for a shampoo that gives volume and doesn't dry out your hair is a pretty good deal.

I bought a bottle a few months ago from amazon, under a buck with free shipping.I was expecting more of a vanilla scent, but it turned out to be kind of a artificial fruity smell, that I liked and grew to enjoy.I wouldn't have identified it as vanilla, mint, or tea at all.I'm a guy, I have short hair and rarely spend over a dollar per bottle on shampoo, usually at the grocery store.It cleaned my hair fine, afaik.After I eventually finished the bottle (several months of daily use), I ordered another.Same price, nearly identical packaging, horrible scent.I noticed the bottle now has a "Improved Fragrance" blurb on the label.I think it stinks. Girlfriend agrees it's significantly different than the previous bottle.But she needs fancy shampoos and conditioners, so she wouldn't use it anyway.Still no hint of vanilla I can smell, but there is a strong scent of what could be rancid mint or tea leaves.On the off chance that it was just a bad bottle, I got another one at the local store.Same "Improved Fragrance", which I don't like at all.Now I'm stuck with 2 bottles, which I plan on pawning off on guests or leaving in the shower at the gym for people who forgot to bring any.If I find some "non-improved fragrance" edition, I'll probably buy a couple $1 bottles.If not, I won't be getting any more of this stuff again.

As some other reviews have mentioned, this product made my hair very dry. I dont know whats clarifying about it other than the second ingredient is a sulfate (the ingredients that cause the foam). I guess it must have smelled terrible before because it says improved scent...which isnt all that great now.

I was excited to try this shampoo because I love the smell of vanilla. This shampoo cleans well and I love the mint smell mixed with the vanilla.

I must say that this is the best smelling shampoo I've ever used! I don't normally like smelly products like the odor is pleasant and the product works well on my hair (cleans my hair and scalp thoroughly and lathers nicely.)

Decent shampoo. Makes a nice lather and smells pretty good, to boot. Best of all, the price is right. Glad I bought this.

I like to use this shampoo to wash my nylons and woolen gloves and hats. It's very good, and has a very nice pleasant scent!
