JoJo & Friends Electronic Talking Hide 'Em and Find 'Em Easter Egg Hunt (Single Unit, Colors may vary)

I bought this egg for my 2 year old grandson. He loves it! He laughs and talks to it while he is playing with it. It is very interactive. He will ask "Are you hiding?" in response to the egg talking. When he finds it, he laughs and says "I found you!". It is so adorable to watch. As the title says this is a single unit of one egg so I knew that when I purchased it. I almost did not purchase it due to the amount of negative reviews. I always read the reviews before buying something. I decided to risk it because it just seemed so cute. I am so glad I bought it. Seeing the enjoyment my grandson has when playing with it is worth the price of the egg. I did not have any of the problems some of the other reviewers had concerning the battery or the egg not working. I would definitely buy this product again.

I do like the eggs, but the description "single unit, varying colors" with a picture of three eggs made it seem like the "single unit" was three eggs. This is in fact for ONE SINGLE EGG. I ordered four, thinking I was ordering four sets, but only received four eggs. I understand this is ultimately my mistake, but my other issue is that I got one pink and three yellow. I would have preferred a variety of colors. Being that I have all boys, I would have preferred the blue and green ones as well. I'm sure they will be great on Easter, but I am a bit disappointed in the misrepresentation and miscommunication. - Alison

Well I received 1 egg today in the mail with a package that was not even taped shut. Of course I was wondering where the other two eggs fell out that are shown in the picture. As I now read other reviews (which I should of done before ordering but who thought a $8.00 kid toy would need such major review) I realized others were deceived as well. It is really not the $8 that will break my bank but the deception in advertising that annoys me. As I read it again it describes the purchase as 1 unit, which could mean 1 egg or 100. Why dont they just say 1 egg or just show a picture of 1 egg? I will be returning this on principle alone. Amazon get you act together and screen your sellers please.

While I was expecting three eggs, I received only one. The ad certainly leads one to believe that there are three products in the package. There is also nothing to indicate (until you have the product) that the batteries are a one shot deal. When they die, you are done as the sound is gone. The tag also reads that the egg will sound off for 30 minutes (length of 1 egg hunt in the manufacturers mind) and you should get 4 egg hunts out of each egg before the batteries go. This is then, a 2 hour toy, that I paid nearly 10 dollars for. It would have been bad enough had there been the three eggs I thought I was getting, but ONE?? Guess where it's going? Yup. Right back where it came from.

This toy is cute and fun. One person hides it and pushes the button and it starts calling out things like "Yoo hoo! I'm hiding!" It's a fun way for young kids to be able to have an informal Easter egg hunt. It's nice for young ones too as the sounds it makes helps to motivate and assist their search. My 4 year old and 2 year old enjoy it. It's probably a better toy for the 4 year old. I do need to assist them a little with hiding it or they lose interest quickly but that is probably related to the young age of my 2 year old son. Reasonable value for the price, in my opinion. Be aware that the order is for only one egg (which for our purposes was enough).

I bought one of these in the UK years ago which finally ran out so when I couldn't get a replacement here I thought I'd try the US and I wasn't disappointed as it came in under a week with great tracking service. The egg is great as you turn it on, hide it in lego toys, curtains, in boxes, fridge etc and every once in a while it will shout cooey...... Over here...... Im still hiding........ It's fab fun watching them and if it's raining you can do the egg hunt inside and can always hide in garden if nice. Def recommend for a quiet life! Mine have played with it since they were young and even at 9&11 they still love it!!!

Ugh. OK I ALMOST ALWAYS READ THE REVIEWS. DO NOT know how I missed this one. Cute enough for my toddler but seriously, just ONE EGG despite the Picture. Description says ONE UNIT but the Picture is of 3 EGGS. Because I was not asked for a color - I assumed 3 to a UNIT. Not worth the money and agrevation for ONE EGG. And I am a PRIME MEMBER PLEASE READ! DO NOT Make MY MISTAKE!!

Overall a fantastic toy. Just what I expected. I bought 3 single eggs and one of the three came with dead batteries.... Even though it says you can't change the batteries, you can - You have to be very careful of the wires and remember where everything goes...It takes 3 LR44 style batteries or the equivalent Energizer 357 (they come conveniently in a 3 pack).I had bought these way in advance for a birthday and by the time I realized the problem, I didn't want the hassle of returning so late in the game...
