I love the concept of this light. It illuminates the page well, has a dimmer dial to change the brightness from din to quite bright, is lightweight, and might be minimally less obtrusive for bed partners, as far as light contamination in bed use goes.But this handy little light has a few fundamental flaws.- Thr fingerprints. My god, the fingerprints. Don’t ever touch the acrylic in any way, or you will leave smears all over it that do not easily wipe off. They just smear further. And accumulate. Even if you don’t think you’ve touched it, you have. Insidious fingerprints and smears will continue to collect, distorting the illumination and the words on the page. Thankfully, there’s that dimmer toggle you can just crank up slightly to counter the smudges. Ad Infinitum.- Why in the world is it the dimensions it is? No book pages coincide with the size of the acrylic illumination screen. It’s far too wide for a mass market paperback and not tall enough for a standard hardcover or tall paperback. So it must be adjusted while reading, at least every time you turn the pager if not also multiple times per page to see all the words.- Sometimes it just turns off. A good smack turns it right back on, but it’s still mildly inconvenient to have to smack it back on every time I readjust it (which provides ample opportunity for additional finger print smears).- The edges of the acrylic serve to magnify the LED lights and shine a strong beam of concentrated light wherever the light is pointed. So I have to be careful to always have the acrylic pointed away from my sleeping bed partner or risk burning out his sleeping retinas by accident. I’ve considered trying to line the edges with black electrical tape to rein in the excess light beams, but I’m also consummately lazy and have yet to do so.All in all, this light serves it purpose and has potential, but this is not the ultimate awesome product it could be.

My partner is sensitive to light when he sleeps so i got this for reading but in order turn the page it’s a whole thing. Loud lots of moving. It’s a good product but not practical for bed reading.

This is the best book reading “assistant” I’ve ever had! I'm a book lover. I like reading books especially at night when I'm laying down on the bed, drinking a cup of hot cocoa or a delicious tea. Reading a nice book, that’s my happiest moment of my day. So I ordered this book light, helping me read during the night.First thing first, I have to say, the package is solid, super protective cause it has double layers, about 3 cm pearl woof for each side, also shipped with a bubble bag, and come with an outside box package. I feel it’s really hard to be damaged.Secondly, the material is good, I would say it’s worth every penny. Compared with other products, even though it's a little bit expensive, but it will last longer, because it has a better quality.Thirdly, it also can turn up or down the lights. So it’s absolutely designed for everyone. I love it!It’s absolutely my favorite purchasing thing in 2022 by far.

The media could not be loaded.  Please see video for demonstration. The book light arrived with smudges (fingerprints, etc) under the cling film. I cleaned before using. It does put off a good amount of light, but illuminating a whole page without lighting issues turns reading into a two handed activity. It’s probably a good purchase if you regularly read in a dim area, but it would probably be better just to get a lamp.

I was going to go with a cheaper model but reviews said they were scratched so I decided to go for a better quality model and this one didn’t disappoint.

Works great for what it is. Only thing is the dial is fidgety. Turn a page too fast while you're using it and the light turns off. Walk too hard around it when it's off and the light turns on. I'll just read the old fashioned way with daylight or a lamp and tell my husband to get over it while I'm trying to read in bed.

The light is very easy to use. The screen is clear and has warm white light that doesn’t disturb my husband in the room. The brightness is adjustable. My eyes don’t feel tired after reading a couple of hours in the dark. It’s lightweight, easy to carry around. The screen is big enough to cover the whole page of a regular size book. The screen is protected by films that need to be peeled off before use. It comes with a cleaning cloth for wiping off any fingerprints. It works like a kindle if you are old school who like paper books. Definitely worth the money!

I don't dislike this product, it functions as described. However, I find this booklight is awkward to use to read paperback books in bed. It's much too wide and is awkward to hold atop the book. This may not have been the right option for me, but perhaps others will find it more useful.
