Best oil filter + oil flow rate performance on the market
Fits my 2024 TLX Type S, oil flow rate feels immensely better. Was referred here from YouTube after going through filtration and flow rate test, and this came out on top beating k&n , wix , amsoil, royal purple, and mobil1 by a huge margin. I’ve tried all these filters before and I can attest the car feels better with this filter.

Boss is built like a tank
Probably the most over engineered oil filter available for the vehicles it applies to. The can is made of the thickest steel I've seen in any oil filter. The gasket is not silicone but is soft. The filter media is synthetic and white. The bypass valve is built into the inside bottom of the filter.For the $2 more than the OEM Mitsubishi filter, I think this is an excellent choice.I usually change my oil within 5000 miles and it know I can go longer but I use my car for short trips a lot.If I had a long commute, with highway miles I would feel comfortable going longer with this filter.

Good alternative
I have only ever used this filter once for my Honda fit 2011 as I tend to get most of my filters in bundles at AutoZone, but I can confidently say it does the job. There were no leaks and the quality was there as well. Nothing out of the ordinary that you wouldn’t see in an oil filter. Would recommend.

Best quality
Honda owners / DIY ers be aware, the OEM filter is of low quality, mostly poorly glued paper and cardboard., open one up and see for yourselves!The purolator is a much better choice.

Poor packaging
I am sure it is a good product, however, the filter was not in a plastic protective vacuum seal. They simply put the filter into the (flimsy) paper box and off you go.BTW I noticed that the sealing surface is surprisingly hard unlike others that are more rubbery. However, I installed it wit the same torque and it does not leaks so I guess it is okay.

One size fits most
Good fit for my 03 and 2020 pilot and 2024 CRV. Did not get burned this time.

Puralator BOSS oil filter
Amazon has a good price the Purolator Boss oil filter, which has been tested to be the best all around filter on the market today.
