Excellent Jig Heads for Versatile Freshwater and Saltwater Fishing
I recently purchased the Trout Magnet Jig Heads (1/64 oz, 25 pack) and have been very impressed with their performance. These jig heads are perfect for targeting a variety of species including trout, crappie, bass, and panfish. What I Like: Perfect Weight and Balance: The 1/64 oz weight is great for ultra-light fishing setups, allowing for natural presentations and long casts. Shad Dart Head Design: The shape really helps the lure dart and move enticingly in the water, increasing strike rates. Secure Lure Attachment: The lure body securing barb holds soft plastics firmly in place, even after multiple casts and strikes. Sharp, Durable Hooks: The hooks are sharp right out of the box and maintain their edge, making hook sets more reliable. Versatile Use: Works well in both freshwater and saltwater environments, making them a great all-around choice for anglers. Additional Notes: The pack of 25 offers great value and ensures you have plenty of jig heads for a fishing trip or two. They pair perfectly with small soft plastic baits for enticing finicky fish. Overall: If you’re looking for reliable, well-designed jig heads that offer excellent balance and durability, the Trout Magnet Jig Heads are a fantastic choice. They’ve become a staple in my tackle box for both freshwater and saltwater fishing.

Great for UL fishing
It's hard to find 1/64 oz jig heads, and I do a lot of UL and SUL fishing. These work well with trout magnets, but you can also use it with other plastics such as small insects, curly and paddle tail and etc. The quality is very good, and you can cast them a decent distance with 2 or 3 lb lines on an UL or SUL rod. Can't beat the price at 25 for $9.00.

Good, But The Hooks Are Brittle
I use these with Berkley Crappie Nibbles (usually under a float) for sunfish in the small lake adjacent to my house. Two nibbles on a bare hook works just fine. Unfortunately the hooks tend to snap if they get bent and are re-straightened. Channel catfish often get the hooks stuck in the bones under their upper lips, and the hooks often break during the hook removal process. That being said, the hooks are sharp, hold the bait and the fish, and are the perfect size for two nibbles.

Excellent Jig Heads
PROs: These things work great as replacements for the Trout Magnet kit. Using the Trout Magnet worms, they attract panfish like gangbusters! They're sturdy enough that I've caught 2-3lb largemouth on them and they didn't break. The manufacturing quality is consistently high, and I haven't had one dud in the batch. Can't beat the price, either! CONs: Like any small jig (and they are really small) these can be hard to tie on. I usually use them with 2-4lb mono, and one you get them tied, they stay tied.

Straight Quick Action
I love these jig heads for my trout plastics. They even work well when fishing for pan fish or smaller bass. The size is great and they are strong.

Trout Magnet shad dart jig
Excellent jig for bluegills and crappies. Matches up well with the trout magnet body

These are finished off really well and are so light to give finesse fishers a delicate touch. The flat slanted head should give a rather unique movement. I intend to give them a try partenerned with a Trout Magnet Float and let the jig bounce on the ripples in the water surface for action and see how that works. The rubber bodies are also unique with the split tail being very well formed and so delicate they should give a lot of action along with being very stretchy. They are rather expensive but there is nothing else out there that I have seen in this weight class.

I ordered the Trout Magnet Kit over 5 times now. Its my go to when the fish aren't bitting. I lost alot of the these jigheads from snags, this little box will replenish my lost goods. A bit expensive but totally worth it. I use these jigheads with the original Trout Magnet grubs, but it also works with small mister twister or any small plastics under 2 inch. The arrow shape dimensions of these jigheads seems to get snag less often than the normal round headed jigheads. I use it with floater or small split shot 1 feet above the jig.

Hook size is more like a 6 than an 8 but they mention they are slightly larger. Will work for small panfish twister tails 1". Will work well for perch for ice fishing
