Actually goes smoothly around a 90 degree corner!
We have a rectangular bay window - for nearly five years, we've struggled with no less than four different curtain rails. We tried a pole with 90 degree corners (the rings got stuck), a flat strip with clips (the clips got stuck) and the IKEA VIDGA rail with "gliders" (the gliders did not glide at all). This rail solves the problem easily with a track and little wheels on the gliders (an idea IKEA apparently couldn't come up with). It just works. The gliders go smoothly around the corner like you'd expect and glide on effortlessly. It was easy enough to cut to size with a jigsaw, although a hacksaw would probably work too. Bending it to shape was easy enough to do by hand. I don't know if you'd really need to resort to a hairdryer or anything as the metal core is pretty easy to bend even when cold. I clamped it into a workbench to try to straighten it perfectly, but once it's installed the fixing clips keep it straight anyway. It comes with clips to fix to the ceiling which are simple and effective with a spring-loaded clasp that the rail just pops into.Very much recommended if you are having similar struggles with a bay window.

Does the job!
A good product, does the job! Not difficult to install even though snapping the the bracket into the curtain track may seem a little challenging. I like the fact that the rollers glides so smoothly on their tracks and carries the weight of my curtain adequately.OH! HERE'S THE REAL CHALLENGE THOUGH!The curtain track is delivered coiled and quite challenging to straighten. I left it in hot water as directed and that only straightened it a little. I then put heavy loads on it for 7 days until I was ready to install expecting it would be super straight.. Naa! You will notice the undulating track in the image.

Handy solution for a temporary curtain rail
The media could not be loaded. The rail is quite small and inconspicuous yet does the job well. My curtains were very light - only 2.8 lbs of blackout curtain so no problem. The adhesive bonded really quickly and it shows no sign of coming loose. Have had the curtains up for a few weeks now. It would be easier to install with two people as they recommend but I installed mine in half an hour with no help by joining only two sections together and sticking one in place, then adding another two and so on which is not how they tell you to do it. The runners are smooth with no jerkiness, though I replaced the metal fittings with plastic ones (cheap on ebay) which worked better for me. For the price it's perfect if you don't want to damage the walls. I might buy another for the other window.

Ideal for my Front Door
I bought this kit some time ago and have only just get round to using it. I have used it with a curtain for two doors now and I have enough bits left to do another one.I needed 2 1/2 lengths of the track to make the right width, so after measuring I cut the third track with a hacksaw. I used superglue on the slide in joiners to make sure they would not move. I did not use the metal hooks provided, but standard plastic curtain hooks (as shown in one of my photos, although I ended up using 10 hooks with generally 4 spacing rather than the 2 shown). The 3m tape appeared to stick fine, but I left it overnight before actually fitting the curtain. I have not used the gathering strings, but the curtain with a 95 cm length seem to work well and provides a good draft excluder for the door.I am very pleased with the result.

Brilliant!
Up until now we have had a pole across the top of our bay, but have never been able to find affordable curtains that could touch the floor so the curtains sat a foot or 2 off the ground, looked stupid and rubbish for heat retention. But previous experience of the bendable runners had put us off, being a pain to open and close and not very secure in the fixings. These are brilliant! The fact that they screw into the ceiling so you don't have to have them against a wall is fab, the rail clicks in securely though it's a bit fiddly to get in, it's not going to fall out.The runners move smoothly and open/close as easily as ring top curtains, my toddler can open them. The end caps are a pain to get on, we put them in some hot water to soften them up and this made it much easier to do.

Comes coiled super tight
Over coiled track but this reduces pack size- down size to this is that you have to open the contents to discover that you need to straighten it for 24 hours before assembling! No chance of this once the old one was taken down - so we have a curvy curtain track as it needed to go up on the day. This is cheap and cheerful and does the trick. Metal curtain hooks hang low off the track and hence curtains are 1” lower than they used to be . Overall good value and easy to install

Great curtain track system, easy to install
We have no space to install track to the wall so had to ceiling mount. This system is really easy to install and the curtains glide along it so easily. We have a very wide bay window which needs 3 curtains so we ran out of hooks/glides but Urbanred were very quick to respond to our email and sent us some more free of charge. Great product, great service!

Excellent product. Easy to use.
Excellent product. Easy to use. Have bought 2 for rentals and they are working well.(Definitley worth putting boards above a plasterboard ceiling so you can easily screw in the fixings for the rail wherever you want, with confidence.)
