Because size matters!
I use these instead of the “new and shrunk” ac delco filters because this one is approx 1/3 longer. The ACDs used to be bigger too which means more filtering media. Now for some reason they want me to run a lil bitty filter on a 6.0L motor. So I cross referenced this larger Bosch equivalent.

Good filter for a good price
For $6.50 (as of July 2024), this is a good quality filter for a good price, especially for a single filter. I usually buy oil filters in bulk to save money, and sometimes even a small bulk batch does not offer individual pricing this low.
