Can u make 1 espresso shot?  The markings under the 2 shot shows steam mark, am I able to fill the water to that mark to just pull one shot?

I make Expresso in mine every day,  One shot or 2,   Trick is letting water get hot befor you tighten cap,  Tighten cap so water is hot when it goes through,   You can make it extra strong or weak,  By hoew you pack expresso coffee,   Want it reallt strong,  Make it super fine and compact it hard,  If you want it weak,  Do it opposite,     I only make expresso ewith mine

Wondering before I buy: Do the espresso ground & coffee grounds just go into the same filter? So it functions like any old pot maker justw/ a frother.

No, this Mr. Coffee® Espresso and Cappuccino Machine does not function like a coffee maker. This machine can’t make a regular cup of coffee. The process of making espresso is different from that of making coffee. Espresso maker uses a unique method of coffee brewing in which hot water is forced through finely ground coffee. Can you make the coffee cold instead of hot to use for an ice latte?
