Knowing: Memoirs of a journey beyond the veil and choosing joy after tragic loss.

This is the story of a man who had a near death experience. Whilst driving home after an Easter break he fell asleep at the wheel and lost control of his car. His wife and youngest child died and he almost died. This book tells the story of his experience during the period when he visited heaven and how he had to return to earth to care for his surviving son. It follows his rehabilitation and his attempt to re-build a life for him and his serving child. It is a book which is not easy to put down once you start reading it. Any doubts about what to expect when we die are explained and gives comfort that this life is only a small part of our existence.

I read a lot of these type of books,as I lost someone very close to me,this book was nothing like other NDEok he looked at his broken body,told to go back,nothing spectacular,in fact moving the bodies to a differentplot,rather gruesome this part,if I had lost some one like that,I would never have disturbed their last resting place .

The events described in this book are horrific, yet it forms part of an important growing volume of evidence for the so-called afterlife. The continuing attempts by mainstream science to attribute "near-death-experiences" to some kind of dying brain function, are being proved wrong. Only materialist scientists with closed minds can still cling to that idea. In the events described here we see that "dead" souls are also perceived by others not directly involved in the trauma.In my own life, my wife, now deceased but in good health at the time, saw an uncle of hers in our kitchen. At the time she did not even know he had died.NDEs are proving to be more evidential than religious beliefs.

An emotional rollercoaster of a read that ultimately reminds us all of the fragility of life and that its true purpose is to find ourselves and enjoy the ride that we chose for ourselves.Our relationship with other realms/dimensions is rarely experienced let alone described in such vivid detail giving joy to all those who have suffered the loss of loved ones.It is our heads that cause us so much pain and confusion and ultimately we all need to learn how to trust our heart and soul whenever we choose to engage fully with life.

This book confirms what I believe, the insights into how life is, why we’re here, the lessons we have to learn & how there are only two emotions, fear & love, the greatest of these being LOVE ♥️ I highly recommend this book
