What a fun book!
I have to say how impressed I was by the artistry. As a person who cannot draw a stick figure, these were sweet pictures. The artist is the first cousin, once removed, to the author, and I think it's lovely they could collaborate on this together. The story is about a physics-inclined boy named Giggles Bubbles (and can you say that without giggling yourself?) and his sister Katie. Katie is all about pink and being a girl. She has fancied the idea of floating in the sky like a cloud, and luckily she will get the chance through an experiment her brother makes in their wading pool.As Katie rises in her wading pool/homemade Giggles bubble, she takes advantage and goes towards Boston, while Giggles is desperately trying to find a way to get her back. Katie gets into a few adventures while in her bubble and sweetly helps others along the way. This is a great book for younger readers, and at the end the author provides a fantastic glossary of terms titled: "Words You May not Know - Steve's Definitions" with over 50 different words for kids to learn and understand. As a parent, I will be reading this to my children, and as a teacher, I would definitely share this with my classroom.

Lots of fun for a boy or girl
Katie Bubbles floats away in a bubble. I am not sure if all the adventures of Katie Bubbles will involve bubbles, but this first one does. Her big brother, Giggles, who fancies himself as an inventor, mixes up a mess in the swimming pool, and then leaves it alone. Katie comes long after hearing something, and ends up floating away in a giant bubble.Luckily Giggles spots Katie floating away, and springs into action to try to save her. While he is tracking down help and figuring out a way to save Katie, Katie herself goes through a series of adventures while she floats along. The book is well written, and the plot and adventures that Katie goes through are appropriate for children. Katie shows her concern for others, even while she is stuck in a bubble floating along. Giggles is curious, but wants to fix his mess and doesn't worry about asking others for help. There are also a set of simple hand drawn pictures along with this, that the children will be able to relate to, and that illustrate key points of the story. This book will entertain any elementary school age child, either reading it themselves, or having it read to them. Both boys and girls should be entertained.

A Book for all Ages
The Adventures of Katie Bubbles - The Boston Adventure is the story of Giggles Bubbles and his sister Katie Bubbles. Giggles, like most adolescent boys, is adventurous, curious and messy. Katie, is a typical little girl princess who loves pink and is only marginally tolerant of her brother. She expects the mess and is always curious as to what invention he has come up with this time. When Katie accidentally discovers the weightless water Giggles has invented in her favorite wading pool, she embarks on an adventure to Boston, floating in her self-contained bubble. Her curious nature far exceeds her fear and she quickly figures out how to control the bubble. She also demonstrates a very sympathetic and caring nature by helping people she encounters on her journey. I read this book with my granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed the story and wished that she could ride in a bubble. This was said while wearing her pink sweatshirt and tiara. She also commented on the drawings and said she could do that. The book is a good reminder to children to overcome their fears and the result will be wonderful adventures in their lifetime. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 stars.

Amazing story about Katie Bubbles
This story starts out to be about Giggles Bubbles and Katie Bubbles, who are brother and sister. Katie is the stereotypical girl and Giggles is the stereotypical boy. Being the adventurous kid he is, Giggles somehow creates weightless water from Katie's favorite pool and Katie gets picked up with it. Because of it, Katie's adventure begins. Katie gets into the bubble that has formed in the pool and goes to Boston, where she gets to help many people while there. This book is amazing because it can relate to both the parents and children who are reading it. It makes the children's minds open and they get to explore their imagination while the adults get to open back up their imagination world. One amazing thing about this book is that the author decided to let a 9 year old design the book, which I think is great. Another great thing about this book is that the author decided to donate a part of the proceeds of this book to help find a cure for breast cancer. If anybody wants a great children's book, then you should definitely get this one.

Great Family Book!
The Adventures of Katie Bubbles: The Boston Adventure by Steven Hill Jr, was a cute story. I would recommend this story for children and adults or for adults to read with their children. I loved everything about this book; it had so many messages throughout the book that can help us all in life. The relationship between Katie and her brother giggles, I think was the normal "love/hate" relationship that most siblings have. They both loved each other but got on each other's nerves.I loved how curious and how much trouble Giggles got into, being a mother of a little boy myself, I know how much boys like to get into trouble. Actually Giggles and Katie were both very curious. This book showed that being curious is not always a bad thing; Katie and her brother were very smart. I loved that Katie had a caring heart at such a young age. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story.
