Many of the film songs penned by the poet are too famous and recountable for most connoisseurs and fans of old bollywood film songs. Therefore, their inclusion in this poetry collection seems redundant and unnecessary.

I don't deem myself suitable to comment on the quality of Sahir's timeless poetry and nazms, which definitely deserve 5-stars. I am giving 5-stars on:1. The quality of pages. Feel rich and thick.2. The print is very clear, large and till now I haven't found any spelling (vartani) mistake.3. Meaning of tough urdu words are provided as footnote on respective pages - which helped particularly me a lot!4. And of course, Speedy free delivery by Amazon (books had free delivery when I ordered).

Firstly, the book was delivered in splendid condition.Secondly, sahir ludhianvi is a gem of not only the formidable category of Indian poetry but of the golden era of Bollywood too. His distinguish lyrics make you relate and and are sure to send you in a awe. Especially the song "main zindagi ka saath" which is compiled within this edition.No doubt he is revered by us poetry lovers
