It's a smallish tube, but it is so pungent and flavourful that you need very little per serving. I'm not a fan of Sushi, so I don't use it for that, but mixing 1/2 tsp. with 1 T. of stone ground mustard makes a wonderful spread for roast beef sandwiches, and it adds a whole new level of yum to dios and hors doevres. Since I can't find ANY wasabi in my small town, I am thrilled that Amazon has me covered.

I just now got the nerve to try California Rolls. I buy the frozen sushi from Aldi but they never include enough Wasabi sauce packets. This is really good.

This wasabi paste definitely brings that sinus heat but the taste is just not right. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is but it's noticeable upon the first taste and doesn't get any more pleasant. I would definitely taste it first before covering a bunch of food with it like I did. Mine arrived with just 3 months of shelf life so I'm not sure if that's the culprit. Idk how long wasabi paste should last packaged. I wouldn't repurchase this brand.

This has a far higher percentage of wasabi and, unlike most of the brands available, is gluten free. It's got quite a kick to it, so don't assume you can use the same amount as you would a cheaper brand.

Sono celiaco e quindi per me era essenziale che il prodotto fosse davvero senza glutine. Benché titolo e descrizione fossero rassicuranti in tal senso, il dubbio rimaneva considerato che in foto sono si vedevano riferimenti scritti a questa caratteristica (chi è celiaco sa bene che vincolante e tutelante solo quanto riportato sul prodotto). L'ho ordinato quindi, già psicologicamente pronto a restituirlo, ma con piacevole sorpresa il prodotto reca la scritta "gluten free" sia sulla confezione (vedere foto), sia sul tubetto. Era tanto che non lo mangiavo (per la difficoltà di reperire un prodotto per me sicuro), ma il sapore è proprio come lo ricordavo. Ottimo. Infine preciso che questa pasta wasabi è prodotta in Giappone, ma con wasabi non coltivato in Giappone.
