I was hesitant to use a snappi or pin on my prefolds for fear of hurting my little guy. But as I tried to wrestle a squirrly baby into a diaper cover with nothing holding the prefold together, I realized it wasn't going to happen. I watched a couple videos online on how to use prefolds with a snappi before ordering mine. After I used it a couple times, I realized its a great little gizmo. It has some sharp little teeth that grab your diaper corners and the crotch of the prefold to hold the whole shebang together. Although the teeth are sharp, they have never come out of the diaper before, plus they are covered up by the diaper cover. The snappi also has little rubber handles over each end that make pulling the claws out of the fabric super easy. They really make cloth diapering a lot easier.

They do exactly what they're supposed to but for me they're too wide for a newborn and don't hold very well on most fabrics. You would think that if these are designed for prefolds they would be easy to use together... not babies r us prefolds at least. I spent $10 on these and since I've used them I've decided I'm not going to use prefolds at all because the snappis are not very easy to use. (Once you connect one side, and try to connect the second side, the first side falls off.. a battle that goes back and forth about 4 or 5 times with lots of tightening.)I'm sure for an older baby they work fine, but they're very hard to use on a newborn who's entire width from hip to hip is about the same size as a snappi.

I think snappi's are one of the greatest invention for cloth diapering next to using AIO diapers. My husband and I had originally bought kushies AIO for our daughter but then when she came out she was WAY to small to use them and probably won't fit till she's almost a year old. So I started doing some research for diaper that would fit a trim baby on a budget and everyone kept saying prefolds and all I could picture was this old school cloth with ugly plastic white cover and trying to safety pin the diaper on my daughter without poking her haha. Then I found snappi's bought them and bought some prefolds and I love it. The prefold fits very trim so she doesnt have a huge butt and the snappi's make it super easy to do. My husband even likes using them

I am a Grandma who is doing full time babysitting, and I used cloth diapers back in the day dinosaurs roomed the earth. So I was looking for the locking metal diaper pins I used to use and could find nothing. I found these instead. They go on easy, hold the diaper in place, and do not seem to be as lethal as I was worried they would be. I can not say how they hold up, my old curved, locking, metal pins lasted through 3 children and I doubt these plastic things will, but maybe.

Snappi Fasteners are sturdy and grip the diapers well. They seem like they'll last forever which is a good thing. I know how painful it is when one of them snaps when you're trying to fasten a diaper closed ( I had that happen with a different brand of rubber diaper fasteners.) They are helpful in quickly secure baby's diaper instead of messing with pins.Our family struggles with keeping track of these little guys. If there's a different color mix that doesn't include the hard to find white snappi, I'd recommend that over this "Mint color mix".

How could you ever cloth diaper with out a snappi? These make using prefolds so simple and I love the fun colors that they come in. They hold the diaper secure, we've never had an issue with the diaper coming off. The only complaint I have is that they do eventually break. I guess they just get to stretched out. They are such a good price and compared to buying disposables every week we can handle buying another package.

My son is an average weight 9 month old. I bought these a few months ago and have problems making them work for him. I don't know if maybe my OsoCozy prefolds aren't quite wide enough for these or it's just that chubby baby belly. He is a little chunky, but weight-wise he's average. They just seem like they are too tight across his belly. I will give the bigger size a try. That said, I do really like the snappi for prefold cloth diapers. They make doing different folds a little easier.

These things are incredible! So easy to use and holds so snug. These hold a diaper perfectly in place even with no cover. My mom and my grandma who both cloth diapered with pins were blown away. All 3 did break after about a year, but I can't fault the product these got stretched and used and abused on 10 plus diapers a day for a year, and when they broke they were still usable just the little pull tabs came off. Will buy a set for each baby, totally a must have item, and I don't say that about much. Happy diapering!
