Very easy setup. White Noise feature is awesome. Though one thing I wish is ....
This is very easy to set up and the design is very nice and pleasing to the eye. My son had been sleeping with a fan for white noise. The white noise feature on this is great. There are six different types of noise to choose from. The gentle rain is his favorite with brown noise his second. The only thing we do wish is that the lowest light setting would be less bright.

Does the Job
Okay, so I am reading a lot of negative reviews. . .from a lot of people that don't know how to read manuals. The alarm volume and white noise/Bluetooth volume are separate. When you set the alarm you can set the volume at which it goes off. The dimmer is adjustable and I have no clue why people say it's too bright. I got the white and on the dimmest it's pretty discreet, so I'm not sure why people think it's so bright unless they haven't figured out how to dim it correctly. Everything is really easy to set up (time, bluetooth) and operate. The negatives. It is not hi-fidelity sound. The rain, thunderstorm, and ocean waves sound like there is a bit of distortion over the sounds. But its not terrible. You can definitely pick out the loop on the ocean waves, to the point where if you play it loudly it could be distracting. The Bluetooth works but will not sound great with music that had a lot of bass. I've stuck to classical that helps me sleep and it does a well enough job. Listening to podcasts works well also.Overall it does the job.

Not my favorite sound machine
I like how easy it is to work. Change time easily, set and change sounds simple. Bluetooth capability is a great feature. My issues include, even with a back up battery it doesn't keep playing the sound or even keep the time. I use this in my baby's room, so I don't mind it not keeping time. But when the power goes out at night, she wakes up when the sound stops. My other issue is the brightness. Even in the dimmest setting, it can cast a shadow on the wall.

Does what it claims
Does what it claims to do, but I think it's overpriced, would not buy again.

too bright when sound is on
When you turn the sound on, a bright indicator light shows which sound you've selected. What's the point of having a dimmer on the time display when a light 10 times brighter than the clock is lighting up the room. What a stupid design. Why do I need a bright indicator light all night long to tell me that I'm listening to thunder or ocean. I can hear it. Do people wake up in the night and think, "I really need to know if this is white noise or brown noise", and turn on the room light to see the label next to the indicator LED (you can't read the label in the dark)? I half expect it to have a voice shriek out "You're listening to brown noise" every 5 minutes... maybe narrated by Bobcat Goldthwait.
