If using this for pregnancy, use it before your belly starts to grow. You need to use it before the skin starts to stretch and keep it hydrated. Many reviewers sound like they used it just after the fact and did not see results. I used this in my first trimester, I am prone to stretch marks and used it throughout my pregnancy and did not get stretch marks. Also used it with The inkey Hyaluronic acid serum as the 1st layer and then this cream on top both morning and evening. Smell isn't that great, but it was well worth it to avoid the stretch marks.

I have been using Mederma Stretch Mark Therapy for several weeks and I have loved it. From the beginning I noticed the skin much more hydrated and soft, and with constant use my new stretch marks were almost not marked. It gives me peace of mind that it is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It absorbs well, is not greasy and the size is perfect to carry in the bag. It has definitely improved the appearance of my skin and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to prevent or treat stretch marks effectively.

So I will say that this does work. I used it starting my second trimester in pregnancy and it kept my belly soft and it is a thick material so it puts a lot of moisture in the skin. My only complaint is that it made me smell terrible. Like my belly would smell like BO a few hours after applying just because of the way it smelled to me. Only reason I gave it four stars is the smell otherwise it’s very good quality. It is worth your money and if you just use it at night and then shower in the morning it’s not a big deal because you’re sleeping. I stopped using it and at 36 weeks I got stretch marks, but up until then it kept my skin nice and smooth and soft and hydrated. I started using it again after my baby was born and it has lightened the color from a deep purple stretch marks to a lighter color. I have used the cream before not specifically the stretch mark one, but the scar therapy one and that one lightened my scars to 100% white so I am anticipating that this does the same over time

This cream works great. It helped lessen the appearance of older stretch marks, and has lessened the redness in more recent ones. It leaves my skin feeling nice and silky, and it smells really good too. Once I’m done with the first tube, I’ll determine whether a second tube is necessary, but so far I’m pleased with the results.

Has a distinct chemical smell. No noticeable reduction in stretch marks yet

This is absolutely working and we aren’t even using it as much as we should. It’s for my daughter who is 8. She didn’t grow last year but gained weight as if she had. She has a TON of stretch marks on her hips, inner thighs, and even her calves. This has helped lessen their coloring and I have hopes will help them get mostly gone with continued use.

I can't yet speak to how well this treats stretch marks since I just started using it, but I wanted to say that I love how this product feels. It's lightweight and thin but leaves the skin very moisturized. The smell isn't bad like so e people have commented. It's got a light medicinal/chemical smell but I don't think it's that bad. But smells are very subjective. I'll try to update this review after a few weeks of consistent use!

It doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money, I’ve been using for over a month on the stretch marks I got from my pregnancy and it just makes me smell bad
