Nice tall tripod but made a bit cheap
The tripod legs are good and sturdy I just feel that the head is very flimsy and cheaply made for conditions on a construction site. The tripod has good hight and easily reaches the top plate of a 8ft frame. Dewalt needs to beef up the head a bit.

Subpar quality
very loose mount on top (shaky)...just not suitable for rough job sites.Had to send it back.

Great for the DIY’er or once in a while use...
I bought this product for my DW088 laser level which has the 1/4x20 threads. I’ve used it once since ordering and suits my needs as a homeowner DIY’er. Works as described, the telescoping head is a great feature and is able to dial in your level marks as needed. The handles are or seem to be a cheap plastic handle that can break off easily if forced. In which case, I think it wouldn’t take much pressure. The legs are easy to setup and adjust. The clamps that hold the legs in place do their job.I could see as a contractor or someone who may use this everyday setting up and taking down it may not be sufficient. For I feel the durability isn’t there for a everyday job. That, you may want to upgrade to a heavier duty tripod.

Poor design
The handle used to raise and lower the tripod head is plastic-Poor Design. As others have said the first one came broken upon receipt, got a replacement pretty quick, but I have my doubts about the longevity. I've used the handle to adjust the height several times, and am always very careful knowing it's a weak link.
