Works Great

The PrepSealer fresh sticks are really easy to use and work great. Will keep foods fresh longer. I really like them for my gluten free flours etc. Nice flexible material seems like they will last a long time. Highly recommend.

I live somewhere humidity and bugs are a major issue.I therefore have to seal everything as securely as possible to avoid food going stale and creepy crawlies from getting a toehold anywhere in or around my house.These fresh sticks are the most reliable and easy to use way I have found to store snacks, cereals, flour, rice, and other foods in bags.The reason I think these work so well is that they seal evenly across the entire opening into the bag.Put another way, when clips are hinged on one side they don't seal as securely on the side farthest from the hinge; while clips are often not long enough to compress across the entire bag.These sticks, which are comprised of two separate pieces that fit snuggly together, get around all of those issues.Consequently, they keep things like chips, pretzels, and popcorn as fresh as they are when you seal them up for extended periods of time.They also prevent accidental spills because they need to be peeled open.Best of all, these fresh sticks are not difficult to use.You just put the two pieces on either side of the bag you want to seal, then press them together until the white half is flush inside the red half, with the top of the bag you are sealing in between.I whole heartedly recommend this set of fresh stick bag sealers to anyone in the marker for snack/cereal, grain bag sealers that are easy to use and work consistently and effectively

What a great idea! My girlfriend and I put a couple of PrepSealer Fresh Stick Bag Sealers to immediate use on a bag of lettuce and some frozen Tater Tots. And the Bag Sealers worked like a champ. We will also use these nifty sealers with bags of frozen vegetables and potato chips. I have no way of knowing how "airtight" they will keep my foodstuffs, but they are superior to the "Potato Chip" clips we've been using. And very convenient. By the way, once you install the Bag Sealer on a bag, it is strong enough to serve as a carrying handle. That makes grabbing it out of the freezer a snap.The 6pc set comes in a couple of different sizes, including 7.5 inches, 9.5 inches, and 12.5 inches in length. You get two of each size. The 12.5-inch Sealer Sticks seem too long for any bag in my refrigerator, freezer, or panty. But I'll probably put them to use eventually. In any case, I like these bag sealers and expect to get a lot of good use out of them. That's why I'm rating them five stars.
