poster
like: the poster will be a great souvineer of the eclipsedislike: i bought enough of these glasses to be able to give some away to people who need them but the glasses forgot to mention a few safety rules1. DO NOT wear regular glasses or contacts while veiwing the sun with eclipse glasses(the small amount of sunlight that does get thru will still be focused by eyewear and burn your eyes)2. eclipse glasses do expire, just like milk, they are good for a few years but will stop being effective so i tell the people i give them to that they should view the current eclipse and then NEVER use these particular glasses again they can put the glasses in a scrapbook or picture frame if they want to keep themBETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!3. keep all pets inside with the curtains closed because the animals will look at the eclipse too but won't have any eye protectiondo NOT try to fit these glasses on your pet

Eclipse Glasses - Worth the price
I purchased these in preparation for two solar events in 2012.May 20: Annular Solar eclipse from Denver Colorado. Annular means that the moon appears slightly smaller than the sun and will leave a ring during totality. From Denver we will see about 79% totality.June 5: A very rare transit of Venus. This is similar to a solar eclipse from the moon, except that Venus appears much smaller. When I received the Eclipse glasses, I went directly to my back yard and was quite excited to see a large sun spot for the first time in real time. Yeah, these work as advertised.I didn't give them a 5 so I could catch the attention of those that think this is a perfect solution for viewing the sun. The only problem I noticed is a good amount of ambient glare comes in from the sides of the glasses and reflects off of the inside into my eyes. Cupping my hands around the glasses helps a little bit. Otherwise these glasses work perfectly. After I became aware of the glare, I decided to purchase the Hobart 770096 welding glasses and two 50mm shade 14 lenses. Be aware that shade 14 lenses are required for viewing the sun. The welding glasses come with shade 5 lenses which are inadequate for viewing the sun. Don't take my word for it, do your homework.

Safe eclipse glasses
I bought these last year, and my family and I used them during the October 2023 eclipse, and now we're excited to use them again during the April 2024 eclipse!I chose Rainbow Symphony because it was listed on the Suppliers of Safe Solar Viewers and Filters List on the American Astronomical Society website. Even if eclipse glasses are ISO compliant, they may not be tested properly, so I wanted to be sure I was getting safe glasses. It was also nice that these eclipse glasses and poster came in a mailing tube, so they arrived in perfect condition. They worked great and my kids had an amazing experience viewing the Ring of Fire! I also got some awesome photos, thanks to these eclipse glasses! I put them over the camera on my phone and they turned out amazing!Next week's eclipse is on a school day, so my kids will take these eclipse glasses to school. :)

Worked well
Ordered for solar eclipse. Has ISO endorsement on are. Can’t see my hand in front of my face, looking at lightbulb you only see a fairly dim spot. Worked perfectly for the eclipse and nobody had eye issues. Made by a NASA approved company. Good price for quantity, quick shipment.

Worked great.

Good safe glasses.
We were able to safely watch the eclipse. I tested them using the brightest lights around the house I could find and not even a dim glow, but they were fine for watching the sun. This brand was on NASA's list of approved manufacturers.
