Reliable, Long-Lasting AAs for Everyday Power Needs
I’ve been using these for over a month now, primarily in a mix of high‑drain devices like wireless gaming controllers and mid‑drain gadgets such as LED flashlights and remote controls. So far, they’ve consistently performed well and entirely replaced the need for disposable batteries around my house. Right out of the box, the batteries charge quickly and hold a strong capacity—often staying charged for weeks even in devices that I don't use daily. When used in my Xbox controller, I can go several long gaming sessions before seeing any noticeable drop in performance. That’s a relief, especially compared to budget rechargeables I’ve tried before that tend to lose charge fast between uses. Another thing I appreciated is the labeling and casing. The shrink-wrap is neat and doesn’t peel, and it’s easy to tell the charge orientation without touching the terminals—very helpful when I’m changing batteries in low-light situations. The batteries feel well-built—not loose or rattle-prone in the charger or when placed in the device. Over the weeks of use, I’ve also noticed they maintain power very well, even if a device sits idle for several days. The cells seem to have solid self-discharge resistance; I haven’t needed to top them up nearly as often as generic rechargeables. When I do charge them, they take a full charge in a fairly standard time frame—not painfully slow. Overall, these are easily among the best rechargeable AAs I’ve used in daily tech and hobby use. They save money, reduce waste, and keep your devices powered reliably—especially in gaming controllers, flashlights, and the like. I’ll definitely keep buying them.

Good life. Easy to recharge.
Really good batteries. The one thing I have noticed with the charger specifically is that once fully charged, the charger does not know they are charged so if you unplug from power and plug back in the recharging cycle appears to happen all over again. The batteries themselves are used in a camera system and are longer lived than I expected with 40 second intervals of high quality recording. I haven't documented it explicitly but I seem to get around 1 month of charge for 3 cameras with high traffic. Front door daily mostly. No doubt longer if I had the cameras turn off after motion was detected. Recharging is super easy and easy to see visually.

Long lasting rechargeables at last!
I've been using rechargeable batteries for wireless mics and IEM packs for years. I've gone with some of the cheaper options and had OK success with them (got a few years out of them, though they were slow as heck to charge and wouldn't last an entire gig) so I decided to up my game a bit. I bought two of the 8-AA sets with chargers and put them in my main PA rack, not only do they last an entire show (sound check plus the 4-hour gig) they fit into wireless mics better (some of the other ones were almost too thick to slide into the handheld mics). I ordered a third pack of batteries and use my old charger with it (takes a little longer, no screen to indicate charge, but it works) and just ordered my fourth pack of 8 , so I always have backups on the charger just in case - I just like to be prepared Overall very happy with thee batteries!

Pretty decent but size is a issue.
I bought a large batch of these to use in wireless mic packs for a community theater company. The capacity is pretty good, but - because they're slightly larger in diameter and longer I have a hard time getting them out of the mic transmitter body packs. My guess is that's why they're getting 2800 mAH when most others are a bit less. They also tend to take quite a bit longer to charge (admittedly - probably because of the higher capacity).

Garbage. Wouldn't buy again. Go with lithium batteries instead.
Here is the revised review: After a year with these batteries, I am very disappointed with them. I took them on a hike to the Grand Canyon and found out that they do not work in the cold, although above 0 degree Celsius. Thank God I had a backup lithium ion battery headlamp for the hike that lasted over 10 hours that got me through the overnight hike. More of them work initially, but after charging them at most 10 times, most of them do not hold a charge for very long. And even after charging them, some of them do not even hold enough of a charge for use. While the AA is slightly better than the AAA version at holding a charge, they turned out to be pretty much garbage also in a short amount of time. Eneloop batteries hold a charge really good but after maybe 50 to 100 charges, the charger just stop charging them. So my experience is that nickel metal hydride batteries are junk. I would just stick to lithium batteries from now on. I have not been disappointed yet with lithium batteries. Not all lithium batteries are the same. There are good grade and bad grades. You mostly get what you pay for. I would compare the good lithium battery brand ones, and buy the reasonable price one. This is the original review: Batteries were fully charged after receiving them. AA batteries DO NOT WORK on Energizer HARD CASE LED Headlamp, the Basic model with the yellow/gray straps. However, AA batteries do work on Nitecore HA23 250 Lumen Headlamp, on Coast Crew PM300 (6 AA batteries) Magnetic Work Light, and on Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse.

Life saver and money saver.
These are a life saver, when you think you’re out off batteries and remember you have rechargeable batteries. They last long save money over time what more could you ask for, thumbs up in my opinion.

Great so far. They seem to last.
I only use Eneloop rechargeable batteries. I’ve tried many other brands so I’m comfortable stating that. Sometimes a brand comes along and tries to market their stuff as Eneloop killers. Sounds funny I know, but Eneloop is the de facto standard that sits atop the rechargeable battery industry and all others are measured against them. When Tenergy upped their marketing it caught my eye and after some examination, I decided to give ‘em a go. So far I’ve been very pleased with the performance of the Tenergy Pro AA cells. They seem to last as long as the Eneloop Pro, but I have not conducted a controlled test. For now, I recommend these as they are a bit less expensive and a good alternative to the most expensive rechargeable AA cells on the market. Recommended.
