We have a heater that we put in our bird bath in the winter to keep it from freezing. It is plugged in an outdoor electrical socket and we need to unplug it when the temperature gets above freezing. This smart power plug allows us to power the heater on and off, from anywhere. We could be in another state and control this outlet. This device has two outlets, with each being able to be controlled separately, so we have room for expansion if we have a second device to power on/off. I really like that this device also has a switch on it so you can power the outlet on or off manually if you are nearby and aren't carrying your phone. The remote software easily installs on your phone and setup of the device is very straightforward. I also like that each outlet has a green led so you can see visibly if the outlet is on or off. I also like that this device is weather resistant, although I have mine in a somewhat protected area. I don't know that i would want this someplace it could get rained on with only IP64 weather resistance. That means it is protected from "splashes" of water only. I am very happy with this device!

Works well. Easy to setup. Matter over wifi or just wifi. Works with home assistant. Only thing to be aware of is that it's a right-angled plug. So you can basically only use one of these and if you have a protected, sunk in outlet box outdoors, it makes it really hard to plug it in. Wish they'd go back to the straight plug instead.

I added this outdoor smart plug to control the string lights on my deck, and it’s been just as dependable as the other Kasa plugs I already use. This is my 3rd time buying this. Not because the others quit working but because I needed one at every outdoor outlet. The convenience of controlling each individual outlet is so useful and something that you didn’t know you needed until you needed it. The app always connects and has no issues with the commands. It’s been through rain, snow, ice, extreme cold and a two-week heatwave and still functioned as normal with no issues. It’s worth every penny, especially if you need to control multiple different outdoor devices/lights

Only had this up for one day but works great & extremely easy app to use on my Android phone. You can control the 2 sockets separately which is pretty cool because the limit is 15 amps to use so I can easily shut off the socket I have something plugged into but don't need to use at the moment I need all 15 amps for what I have plugged into the other socket. Today I turned the left socket on from about 10 miles away & it was working when I got home. It did take me a minute or two to get the attached socket covers to it to fit right so I wish the flaps were a bit thicker as I think that would help with ease of securing them in the socket slots. This is not a flimsy item, seems very durable but if I find that changes I will update. (However, I doubt I will need to)

El dispositivo funciona perfectamente. Configurarlo fue fácil y no hay nada como tener el control de los enchufes incluso estando fuera de casa. Ubiqué el dispositivo en el exterior para el encendido de dos guirnaldas de bombillas en mi jardín. Al momento ya ha soportado varios aguaceros y confío que durará el tiempo establecido en la garantía e incluso más, dada la calidad de los materiales, así como las características de mi instalación, que es propia para exteriores.

Ya he comprado previamente algunos productos Kasa, focos solamente y son una excelente opción, en esta ocasión necesitaba un smartplug para exteriores y me decidí por este, realmente creo que es una opción bastante accesible, la calidad de materiales es buena, su construcción se ve robusta, si creo la presunción de que sea para exteriores. Además la configuración fue extremadamente sencilla, no es necesario ningún hub, ya que basta abrir la aplicación y en pocos minutos está listo. Sin lugar a dudas una buena opción para exteriores.

Buena marca y recistente ala intemperie,se los recomiendo (solo que las personas que no saben instalar se requiere una persona que sepa)
