Turks & Caicos Coral Reef Creatures Guide Franko Maps Laminated Fish Card 4"x6" Map – May 31, 2013

Took this on our trip to Turks and Caicos and my kids loved it. They studied it for weeks and had all the fish they wanted to see memorized before we got on the plane. We spent a lot of time snorkeling while there and the kids were thrilled to see everything and know what it was. Laminated, so safe to take to beach. Older parents may need reading glasses due to small size but kids saw it just fine.

I popped this in my pocket while snorkling and it was perfect to pull out and compare with the fish in front of me. The text is tiny, but it’s a fun little guide for novices to carry on a trip

The reason for 3 stars is because this is such a tiny card that my old eyes needed bifocals to even begin reading the names of the fish, much less distinguishing specific fish. I have other fish cards that are larger and easy to read. I did need to follow up this purchase with a book, as really, this was not helpful to me. My grandchildren seemed to have no problems, but the lack of detail due to the tiny size left a lot to be desired.

This was perfect to slip into our guidebook and review after our snorkeling sessions. We saw many of the animals on the card and only a couple we couldn't identify. It was neat being able to tell what we were looking at instead of a generic fish.

It's colorful and has lots of details. Took it on a trip to Turks & Caicos and it was useful in identifying the fish we saw when snorkeling.

So vibrant and colorful, a real underwater guide to paradise.

The detail in this is terrible, it's absolutely worthless.
