Fake copper
This is a scam. It's some other metal but it's not copper, it's painted with copper, it started to rust so I cleaned it with a sponge and the paint came off.

NOT PURE COPPER! I accidentally touched a ROD AGAINST A MAGNET AND IT STUCK!
These so called โPURE COPPERโ ARE BOGUS! They work, but they are NOT pure copper โas advertisedโ but probably COPPER COATED WELDING RODS, or something very similar. So DONโT BE FOOLED BY THE LITERATURE and FIND OUT FOR YOURSELVES. These are STEEL RODS with a copper coating on the outside of them! BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased these after a friend mentioned dowsing to me, it sounded a little silly but I was intrigued and took to searching Amazon to find a pair. I chose these rods because they looked to be the best quality, and the price was very fair. When I received them I was excited and set up a couple tests, first I had my daughter hide my car keys in a random place in the house that I didnโt know about, and then held the rods as instructed, they would point in a direction and I would walk that way, and then theyโd point somewhere else and I would keep following. Within a couple of minutes I found my keys at the bottom of our hamper, underneath the clothes. I was absolutely shocked at how accurate they are, and I owe an apology to my friend for doubting her. Iโll be taking these to a relative's grave next week and attempt to make contact, Iโm very excited and hope to be able to get some closure.
