Great looking and they really work
I do a lot of reading of my iPad's Kindle app, and with my schedule the only time for I have for this activity is in the later evening. Since I am not a particularly sound sleeper anyway I have been concerned my sleep issues were being further exacerbated by the blue light emitted from the reading device. I researched blue light filter glasses and found many to be cheaply made and generally reviewed indifferently at best. Then I came across the 'Swannies'. I was initially attracted due to the fact they had this model which fits over my standard reading glasses. After reading highly positive reviews on Amazon and elsewhere during the course of my research I decided to give them a try. Yes, they are more expensive, but considering the value of a good nights' sleep I was not interested in pinching pennies on a cheaper product by a no-name manufacturer (from what I understand Swanwick's primary product is blue light filtering glasses). Upon receipt I found these glasses to be very well made, and they fit just fine over my readers without my really noticing the fact I was wearing two pair of glasses. After several nights of use I am a true believer. I now can read for a couple of hours before turning out the light and go to sleep relatively quickly without the lying awake, burning eyes, etc. If I awake during the night and can't go back to sleep I put the glasses back on, read for a few minutes, and generally fall back asleep within minutes. Great product.

Doesn't work well with my glasses
Good quality and filters blue light as stated. It doesn't stay on my face with my glasses very well. Not sure if I'll keep them or return.

Don't Block Blue light from the sides, Cheap Plastic Frames
At this price point there are two big peeves. 1. Frames are VERY cheap plastic -- I expected a much more solid frame at this price ... these are more like you'd find in a $5 pair of sunglasses. Pretty concerned about them breaking. 2. Don't block light from the sides. If you're working at your computer or watching TV without other lights on...not a big deal. But, if there are other room lights on to the side of you, doesn't do anything for you. As of this review, I've been wearing them for a week starting about 2 hours before bedtime. With turning off peripheral lights, they do seem to help and I fall asleep faster. They do fit OK over my glasses. And, are fairly comfortable to wear.

Excellent Fit Over Prescription Glasses; Comfortable;
I have a large face but ordered the regular size. They fit perfectly over my prescription glasses, covering the full glasses lens: right to left and top to bottom in both eyes; but do not protrude beyond the glasses frame. The temple was the perfect fitting for my ears, and the bridge was exactly right. Very comfortable and light weight. Don't even feel that I'm wearing them with respect to comfort. Blu blocking has been very effective each day after 5 days of use. I've noticed reduced eye strain and less tired eyes after using my desktop 3-6 hours daily. I don't sleep any longer than before, but I go to sleep considerably faster. I examined the measurements of the Stanwick very carefully before ordering, comparing those measurements with my glasses frame and face. Very worthwhile and recommended prior to ordering to determine if you need a large or regular size. I was surprised that these have worked so well thus far. There is a "China" stamped on the inside of the temple. But the company stands behind these with a 100% money back guarantee. These are comparatively expensive glasses by comparison with a number of lowed priced products of different styles. But I feel I have the added assurance of them living up to their reputation and performing as intended. And that's worth a lot when it comes to your eyes.

They work and they are comfortable.
I have been wearing blue blockers before bedtime for a number of years, and I know for sure that they help me with my sleep. Taking melatonin actually disturbs my sleep more. Allowing my body to produce its own melatonin by blocking out the blue light which inhibits its production in the body is the best for me to sleep well. The previous blue blockers I had were too dark, and the clip-ons were heavy and caused my glasses to keep sliding down my nose. I was afraid that the Swanwick glasses would not work as well because they have lighter colored lenses, but they seem to work as well as the darker ones did. My husband is happy that he can see my eyes at night. The Swanwick glasses are too big for my face, but I don't care because I only wear them at home. They are very light weight and fit comfortably over my glasses, and they don't slide down my nose. I recommend as much protection from blue light and EMFs as possible for better over-all health, and using these blue blocking glasses is a good place to start.

Great blue blocking lens
I received my glasses in perfect condition. They are clear, non glare, and calming to look through. The reason I did not give them a 5 star, is because they are a little too big over my own glasses. They keep sliding off.....Maybe they are a men's size. One size fits all doesn't work well for me.

cheap material
I actually bought two pair of fitover glasses since I work a lot in front of the computer. The initial effect was great. I could feel my eyes were less tired. Then after a few weeks, my glasses started to fall apart. I first thought, I mishandled it since I need to fit the glasses on my regular glasses. I did not pay too much attention since I had a second pair. But then, it happened exactly the same thing. The temples broke at the hinges section but not the join itself, it is the plastic temple that broke around the hinge. It is unbelievable, such an expensive glass made with such a poor and cheap material. What a waste of money, I would not recommend it to anyone who needs fitover glasses.

Quality Blue Light Blocking glasses
I have researched the benefits of blue light blocking glasses for 3 years. Only two companies have glasses that are well-made and one is no longer in business. I believe the professor who was the owner and scientist/engineer has retired. Swanwick is the second company from which I have ordered. I wish they also carried the blue blocker night lights and small reading lamps offered by the previous company because the bulbs have lasted 3 years! I wear my glasses nightly 1.5 - 2 hrs before bed with and without my prescription glasses. They are the most comfortable style I have tried. I have the medium size, although I have a narrow face. Works perfectly for m!!. I have learned to store my blue light blockers in the provided bag and box for protection from scratching. I am a counselor who has many clients with sleep issues. I wanted to try Swanwick's products to see if I could honestly recommend them to my clients. By the way, my Swanwick glasses came to my door within 2 days! NO, I am not related to the owners of this fine company :)
