I needed a quick fix to plug a leak in my cistern whilst I planned a complete replacement. It’s quick and simple to use, I put it on the inside of my cistern top to bottom to plug a pretty big crack and it did the job perfectly.

One leak and no plumbers, so used this to seal 2 pipes that were leaking. Still haven't needed to call a plumber as this done the trick and cost £7. The only bad side I can think is that this is completely DIY. It's a quick fix and you can only imagine the thoughts going through your plumbers head when they see this mess. it would need chipping off or worst, replacing the parts you've coated. It works though.

As most reviewers stated it’s useless. One pin hole on a soldered joint, which had been heated too much, and the solder had leaked. I cleaned the area with emery cloth, packed it all the way round the joint. Left it overnight. It seemed watertight, but after a couple of hours it’s weeping, so am I after wasting over £5.00. 😢 (New review) I decided to give it another go. I scraped away the material where it was weeping, leaving enough to bond a fresh layer. It is two days since I applied the fresh layer and so far no sign of any leakage. The pipe is under mains pressure feeding an outside tap, the leak is on an elbow attached to the tap. The pipe and elbow are just about protruding out of a small hole cut into the house wall, which is an extremely awkward place to get at. I’ll give a five star rating, instead of the original one star rating and see what happens.

Bought this to attempt to seal up my soil pipe where the lead meets cast pipe. The original putty had cracked and resulted in a very minor drip when flushing. I cleaned the area out, prepped the area and cleaned it up but the joint was still weeping very slightly. I attempted to quickly dry then push the mixed epoxy putty into the small gap twice but could not stop water slightly weeping past the putty edge where it meets the cast. In the end I removed the epoxy putty and used an alternative product to seal the leak. When cured this goes really hard and I would consider it to be a good product but I wouldn’t recommend it’s use where the area is not 100% dry and leak free

Bought to plug a leak temporarily while waiting for a plumber. Worked great for all of about an hour and then started leaking through it, applied more, same thing.
