...and nicer to your wallet too! This boxcutter has been going strong after months of daily use. Changing the blade is easy. It feels right in my hand: not too heavy, not too light, and with good contour. It has easily paid for itself with durability and dependability. The extra compartment holding five blades is a time-saver. The automatic blade retraction is a requirement where I work, and the retraction springs function fine after a thousand hours of use. Unlike other box cutters that caused pain in my wrist after cutting cardboard, this one doesn't. My wrist feels fine after an eight-hour shift.

The amount of boxes that get delivered to my house can be overwhelming sometimes. I have to break them down, cut them up and make them manageable. Having been severely cut by a utility knife in my younger years, I really prefer one that auto-retracts when you release it for safety. I had an old one that just got over used over many years and needed replacing. It seemed near impossible to find one in a box store that you can hold and feel before you buy. I found ONE but it was made of plastic and it was squeeze style and was just ok... I looked all over on the internet for an thumb push style auto-retractable utility knife, and bought a few different kinds. This one is the cream of the crop, though. Great price, great action and great feel in your hand. It is a thumb slide that when you release your thumb the blade automatically retracts back into the housing for safety. It has some weight to it, indicative of a quality made product. It is sturdy, feels well made and is comfortable. I absolutely will not hesitate to order another one.

Very easy to use and has great features

Well built, reasonably sturdy. This thing has the easiest blade change design ever! Well done! It takes standard blades and putting it down immediately retracts the blade. I love this utility knife! That said, there is no clip on it. This means that it has to go into, rather than on pants, shirts, tool bags, etc. Especially tool bags have a variety of tape measure clip ports that can take a utility knife, but without a clip, not this knife.

Excellent quality, exactly what I wanted. Some people don't thoroughly read the description and don't realize the knife is AUTO-retracting...if you let go of the slider (as if it was dropped/etc) it rapidly retracts into the handle. I wanted this feature for safety, and this product does excellent at that. If you don't want auto-retracting, this is not the product for your. If you are looking for a safety-oriented tool, then yes, this will fit your needs.

Absolutely amazing. Self-retracting, perfect for safety-conscience retailers. Very comfortable to operate and it cuts boxes like butter. This is probably the best self retracting blade I've ever owned. Everybody at work loves this blade.

Required where I work. The best thing about this is the grippy surface. It could only be better if they made a little tape breaker on he opposite end of the blade that would break through tape but not be sharp enough cut skin.
