A Really Handy Utility Knife
The spring action makes this knife super handy. I actually bought two of them! I was always worried about cutting myself accidentally by leaving a blade exposed, but this knife allows you to easily extend the blade as much as you need and then let go off the sliding mechanism and the blade retracts back. The weight is good on the tool so it does not feel cheap or fragile. I can't figure out why I did not buy one before and avoided the typical knives that usually go sideways with the blade mechanism after a few uses.

I use it ALL THE TIME!!!
The amount of boxes that get delivered to my house can be overwhelming sometimes. I have to break them down, cut them up and make them manageable. Having been severely cut by a utility knife in my younger years, I really prefer one that auto-retracts when you release it for safety. I had an old one that just got over used over many years and needed replacing. It seemed near impossible to find one in a box store that you can hold and feel before you buy. I found ONE but it was made of plastic and it was squeeze style and was just ok... I looked all over on the internet for an thumb push style auto-retractable utility knife, and bought a few different kinds. This one is the cream of the crop, though. Great price, great action and great feel in your hand. It is a thumb slide that when you release your thumb the blade automatically retracts back into the housing for safety. It has some weight to it, indicative of a quality made product. It is sturdy, feels well made and is comfortable. I absolutely will not hesitate to order another one.

Awesome razor blade!
Due to safety at work they don’t allow razor blades that fold out but allow retractable ones. I didn’t want the normal ones where u have to push up and push back down. I also didn’t want one like u get working at Walmart where when u squeeze the trigger only a little of the razor blade comes out. This fit the bill perfectly. Looks well built. Changing the blades is a breeze. The grip you use is well molded to ur hand. I love this Razor blade.

Perfect if it had a belt loop or pocket clip
Works really well. I like the safety of an automatic retractable blade. But I just wish it had some kind of clip so I didn't have to put a big knife in my pocket.

My go-to knife
Easy for me to use. Replaced a lousy version of the old screw-on-the-side utility knife. #1 feature is how easy it is to retrieve and change blades. #2 Automatically retracts the blade and #3 has comfortable grip. It's also a good size and along with bright yellow, doesn't get lost among other tools.

might be my favorite
I've been using safety utility knives almost daily going on 9 years and this is one of my favorite, been using it for three months. I was apprehensive about the plastic tab for changing the blade but it seems solid and well designed. And to help make something clear, this is a self retracting blade. It does not lock the blade in an out position. You slide the blade out as normal and once the blade bites into the material you are cutting you release the slide tab and make your cut. As soon as the blade leaves the material the blade springs back into the casing. This not only prevents accidental injury but also saves time for those of us that make lots of quick cuts between other tasks.
