This magnifying glass works well for tiny project. The lighting is good and the structure is sturdy.

Works great for painting minifigures. Not too much magnification, good brightness and selection of hue.

First the Pros: This lamp is bright and the magnifier is excellent. It has three "color" settings: Warm, Warm+White, White. I like the middle Warm+White. The clamp attachment allows placement at different point around my bench.BIG Con: The arms are too short. Each of the two sections are only 11 inches (~28 cm) giving a maximum reach of only 22 inches (~56 cm). This is not enough reach. If I want to use the magnifier, I have to move far to one side because I have to clamp it to the side of my bench. I can't clamp it at the front because it would interfere with the bench drawer which I need to be able to pull out to access tools, tape measure, etc.I am going to keep it as the "pro" outweight the "cons".

I am really surprised at the base that comes with this light. Nice and heavy so that I don't have to use the clamp on base, I have not tried to fully extend the arm but with the base I am able to move it nearer the work and not have to extend like I would from the edge of the table. I wish the light was a little brighter (it is not as bright as a fluorescent) but it is bright enough.

I am able to sit on the couch or at my workspace and see the fine details i am working on.

I only had this light for one year and it stopped working.

The stand is plastic with some sort of weight inside, it flexes with every movement, and will eventually break. Keep it out of the sunlight (UV), or that time will come sooner than later. The light is adequate for most needs, but I needed to use a secondary light source. I'm considering removing the plastic diffuser to allow direct LED light. Not sure if there is anything better, this was the best value I could find at time of purchase. I think $29 would be a more accurate price, so if you get it on sale...

I build miniature models, and the parts are small. The magnification and bright led lights are perfect and the lens is big enough to work easily. The weighted base works great and adjusts easily to allow me to get in close to the model. This is a great lamp and a good price. the inline control switch is intuitive. The cord could be longer, but it works with a usb extension cable quite well.

Pensé que el aumento de la Lupa sería poco pero me equivoqué las cosas se ven geniales y la Lupa y el brazo se sienten de gran calidad.El único pero que le pongo es que la base para escritorio no es muy estable y que la última articulación hubiera quedado genial si fuera una rótula. Fuera de eso la recomiendo mucho. Fue una excelente compra.

Very pleasant working distance for working on miniature electronic items. The light is good, but the power adapter gets a bit hot.
