Good quality, functions well and allows for a good dose of coffee
I bought this to pair with a bottomless portafilter I bought from Notsek, after researching and finding these are known as the best quality aftermarket baskets you can get. I also wanted one that took 20g coffee grounds (this one takes 18-22g) as I like my coffee a touch stronger. Initially it was VERY (and perhaps a bit too) tight to fit into the portafilter, and took maybe 5 minutes to get out, but after washing both the portafilter and this basket, it fits in much more easily and was still VERY snuggly set in place. I feel that this product is very compatible with the Notsek bottomless portafilter, but the H28 basket I got would be too deep for the standard Bambino portafilter. I held this up to a light and, to my eyes, the holes are very uniform - so I feel this is good quality. I pulled my first shot with this, and I wish I recorded it, as it looks like the ones you see on Instagram - so it is very functional. Cleaning was much easier than the stock portafilter and basket. I bought this one on sale for £15 (down from £17.60 or something like that) so I'd say this is good value for money.

Descent, but a few things to be aware of
I wanted a slightly stronger dose than the 18g stock basket, so I ordered the 26mm and 28mm sizes to see which one works best for a 20g dose. A few points to note. Because the side walls are straight, the capacity is higher than the stock tapered baskets. I found that the ideal dose for the 26mm basket is 20.5 - 21g with a medium-dark roast. Any less and you'll likely have too much headroom and get a soggy puck. Having said that,19g fits much more comfortably in the basket without spilling over the edges. Also, compared with the stock basket, the holes are slightly larger, so you'll need to grind finer. This is what I suspect resulted in a wetter puck, which isn't nice to see after the dry puck I had with the stock basket. It still fall out cleanly enough with a moderate flick of the wrist. Extraction seems to be even, with ample distribution with a WDT tool (see video) with no apparent channelling. Build quality seems descent, a couple of grams heavier than the stock basket, and the holes seem to be uniform and well engineered.

Noticeably smoother flow
Really good, fits 18 g espresso perfectly and with naked portafilter I can confirm flow is noticeably smoother than the one that came with the machine (in my case the Bambino Plus).

Immediately improved espresso
I don't know why I didn't think to upgrade my portafilter basket but I'm new to espresso, so I got sucked into the world of WDT, fancy puck prep, fancy tamping, paper filters, mesh screens, RDT, and plenty of other distractions before buying this, and it has made the most difference out of anything else. I have a Sage Bambino Plus and a Niche Zero; An entry level setup, but capable enough for some nice coffee, and that's exactly what I was getting. Not great coffee, but nice enough coffee. Since getting this basket (B62.52TH26E model), the taste of my coffee has been amped up. It's like the previous basket was muting the flavours of the coffee somehow, and only allowing so much of it to come out. This basket has taken some 6/10 coffees up to an 8/10. That said, there was a bit of a process of getting used to the new basket. The same dose and grind size that I used with my previous basket ran far too quickly with this one. I used to use grind size 24 on the Niche, for an 18g dose, and that would jam pack the stock Sage Bambino Plus double shot basket. For the IMS B62.52TH26E basket, I've had to reduce the grind size to 21, and I've upped the dose to 19g, which comfortably fits into that Goldilocks zone; Not too much, not too little. Just right. Long story short: Unless the espresso machine that you've got comes with an exceptionally good stock basket, buy this one. It makes a huge difference. If you have any Sage/Breville espresso machine, definitely get this; The stock baskets are well machined but they can't rival this.

Nice little upgrade
H26 Took a little experimenting with . I found 21grams of espresso is the sweet spot . Getting some great shots . Was tight to begin but after a little clean and a little usage it is now a perfect fit . No leaking . Fits standard sage portafilter . I have the black plastic removed in mine so if it doesn’t fit try removing this part . Update : I also ordered the h24 . Fits 18g and a puck screen spot on . They both make a great shot of espresso

Good shot pull sizing and dosing confusing
The baskets are quality from IMS but a few issues with them can confuse people looking to buy one compatible for their setup. For example - with a Sage Bambino Plus the stock portafilter is a bit smaller for this 26mm basket unless you remove the inner plastic, even then it's still a tight fit that you might struggle to remove it, so I would recommend a bottomless portafilter over that. So yes it does 'fit' the Sage 54mm group head machines and portafilters but much more snuggly than Sage's included baskets. In terms of dosing their specification graphics says this basket should be suitable for standard 18g double shot doses for different coffee roasts, but when the puck is removed it's a lot more wet and not as uniform as you might like. I guess that's the 2mm difference between this and Sage baskets so a puck screen or an extra 1/2g of ground might be necessary. Wouldn't recommend this basket if you're looking to extract from any lower than 18g of ground coffee and suggest picking up the 24mm version of this basket instead if you want to hit the 14-18g range.

Can't make it work.
I wanted to replace the stock single-espresso basket from a Sage Bambino plus. Unfortunately, having tried a variety of grind courseness and tamp pressures I was not able to make a decent strong shot without the puck geting into a real mess. I was also a bit surprised as the quality of the item being rather tinny and not as nice as the one that came with the machine. I did fit quite nicely though. You live and learn; but I really don't think this item is fit for purpose with the Sage machine. Other reviews are for the double shot basket, I guess that is fine.

I'm a big fan of these baskets. The price is good, and they make coffee that tastes great to me.

I'm a complete newb at this stuff so I wouldn't know how to rate these. Take my 5/5 with a grain of salt.

As I upgraded to DF64 grinder, I just couldn't make the proper shot with the stock basket. It was frustrating, it was either terrible messy fast flows or complete clog, nothing goes trough. I almost went ahead to return the DF64. But then I decided to try with IMS, since I read it lets finer grinds and has a better flow. And there it was. Complete turnover. It was like a completely different machine. Finally I can fine tune my shots and take adventage of a better grinder. I'm thinking of getting a showerhead too. Btw, I'm glad that I went with smaller basket, since it fits more then the stock one. So if you are thinking of fitting a litttle more grounds than the stock, go with the 14-18g variant. It's more like 18-20.
