Frank Lloyd Wright: American Master

Some great photos of FLW projects. Yes, this is a small edition (6.75" x 9.85") so many of the photos are small. Many others are too dark to actually see the interiors or exterior details. However, almost all photos are in color and in focus. This would be a great book if the photos were identified; unfortunately, most are NOT identified. The identified photos have brief statements (six +/- words) in near microscopic print (2 mm in height). The commentary is brief which is fortunate as it often reflects many of FLW's nutty beliefs. FLW was at times a very ordinary Architect (as evidenced by many of the presented mediocre projects), while at other times he was an extraordinarily great Architect. He was often an unpleasant, opinionated ego-maniac. Was FLW the greatest American architect? Yes, absolutely; (as evidenced by many of the presented great projects)!

What a beautiful book - and BIG - received and it was in PERFECT condition - WHAT beautiful photos of Frank Lloyd Wright's work/design. I watch a lot of youtube's on his work/design - and find it beautiful and amazing! Look forward to just going thru this book with all the wonderful photos. Will be a great 'coffee table' book. Highly recommend!

A sumptuous look into a modern master. The book would have been better if there were more background about Frank Lloyd Wright, even so it stands as a visual tour of his design brilliance. Recommended.

Arrived promptly. A beautiful picture book of many of Frank Lloyd Wright's work. However, if you seek written information about his work, this is not for you.

I got this book as a Christmas present for my nephew who is interested in becoming an architect - he is 14 years old and very interested in Frank Lloyd Wright. This is such a beautifully presented book and he just loves it.

This was a good book for my grandson.

The insight into Wright’s development of ideas over his long career was exceptional.

This is a very attractive book, showing a huge range of buildings. Although it lacks a detailed commentary it remains a very desirable record of his work.

Very colourful book with loads of pictures of the outside and inside of the houses and structures designed by Frand Lloyd Wright. I would have liked to see some archetectual drawings as well but a great book
