Although I generally wear size medium (8), based on reviews I ordered a large, and the fit was excellent. However, nowhere in the description did it state the fabric was "destroyed" and so I was disappointed to discover that the collar was slightly frayed and that there were a few other "destroyed" areas in the jacket. There is also one mis-matched button (visible in the photo) which I didn't notice until I received the jacket. As this was not what I wanted in a denim jacket, I returned it. As always, Amazon makes returns uncomplicated and easy.

I’m 5’10’’, size 4, and this jacket is the ONLY denim jacket I could hunt down with long enough sleeves and body!! I’m usually a small but got a medium so I can layer in autumn! A bit pricey but well worth it—will last for ages as all AG products do!!
