Well worth the read
I'm not normally a fan of a slow burn book because they seem to drag on forever, but this didn't do that. Seth and Cohen were so sweet together, trying to get to know each other through private messaging before realising they already knew each other. It had some laugh out loud moments especially when meeting the parents, and the way all the different characters gel together through the series.

Another brilliant instalment
I love these books! While this one is not one of my favourites, Seth and Cohen are a great pair and I adore how their story began, how they helped eachother to learn who they were as an individual and how they fit so well together as a couple!Such a fun, happy read.

couldn’t put it down
I love how the authors explore sexuality, labels and finding yourself. It’s a wonderful book on acceptance and I totally relate to Seth as I am needy too haha

Fun and cute but fell short in some places
***3.5 Stars***“Thank you.”“For?”“Needing me.”“Always.” He kisses my ear. “Only you, Einstein.”Cohen and Seth are individually trying to figure out where they are on the sexual identity scale. Both are given advice to maybe explore online dating to see if that helps them. They begin talking to each other but not truly knowing who the other is. This whole thing is adorable and fun and I looooved it. There's something about that texting/mystery online dating thing that I love so much. They really get to know one another and it's funny and cute. Then when they finally figure it out it's awkward and again so cute. Cohen and Seth have a really great dynamic. Also Beck figuring it out and all his "diversions" were hilarious. I love him.Honestly this book was gonna be a 4 star for me because I really enjoyed the building of their friendship and relationship and even them together. But at one point it started to feel a too long. Also not helped by the fact that while I get the whole "couldn't keep their hands off each other," even when other things were happening, it felt very much that's all that was happening. Plus, Seth's jealousy didn't feel right and actually sat really wrong with me especially towards the end. I've said it before that jealousy is my jam in books but it felt out of character and really jerkish on Seth's part. Also also, I think Zach & Foster were let off the hook. They should have apologised in my opinion. Look, Seth messed up where Cohen was concerned. That was not the thing to do. His anxiety and panic led to his decision but that doesn't make it ok. But where Zach and Foster were concerned, I feel like he was wary but still encouraging. Especially where Zach is concerned... He was being told he was too much and then they abandoned him and made him constantly doubt himself. And the whole "Cohen is soooo stupid" and no one actually cutting off or stopping that narrative was kind of horrible.Asher is definitely intriguing but also I'm not sure. He seems so angry which is understandable but I can't get a read on him. Interesting to see where his story goes!

I love it
Im so in love with this series. I loved this instalment so much. I can see why some people may not like Seth’s character but I connected with him. I like that this series allows for different personalities and identities and shows that each one of them has their right fit. This wasn’t the easiest to read in the series but I think that’s also because the personalities were complex and the most real so far. They had dimensions that were almost a subtext. I could go on and on but let’s just say a solid 4.5 🌟

Adorable
Well this was an adorable read!Seth is the sweetest guy ever. Confused with his sexuality and why he can’t find sexual attraction easily. Cohen is clueless most of the time but that just makes you love him more. They know one another both in real life and secretly online. Will they feel the same when they realise who they’ve been talking to.A MM hockey romance. Friend’s brother. One bed.The spice was a 3/5.

Ok Read
Love this series but sadly this was my least favourite. I felt the slow burn aspect while understandable went on a tad too long. Would have preferred if they'd discovered each others identities a bit earlier. Also out of the 3 books in the series so far I think Seth was my least favourite MC. I preferred him in the first book. I would have liked Seth to be more like Logan in terms of telling Cohen not to be so down on himself as he wasn't as smart as others. Also I think having all of these LGBTQ characters on one team is getting a bit far fetched. I'm hoping Ashers person is not a team mate.Sounds like a lot of negatives but it was a good book but IMO both authors have done better work. I think book 2 is my fave.

Brilliant Storyline
What a good read, the relationship between Richie and Seth was certainly a journey of discovery and was written and handled very well. They complimented each other perfectly, Seth with his insecurities and neediness and the laid back lovely Richie. The rest of the characters were lovely and there was lots of humour. I thought after Asher made an appearance that he would make a good main character for the next book so I’m pleased to hear that is the plan but good luck with that as he is going to be a difficult one!
