The product was same as shown in the picture. It fit perfectly in my lens. Nothing much especial.

The caps fit well on my 16-70 Zeiss lens. The little leash seems to fit well. I'm not sure why they included the little adhesive pad, when there is a hole in the cap itself to directly anchor the leash to instead of praying that the sticky pad won't come loose. Toss the pad and attach it directly through the hole and you won't have any worries.

The cap is deep enough to grab well, and grips to the threads. Not flimsy at all. The lanyard sits well on the focus ring. Even the outside diameter fits well enough that it looks like a factory-included component. The package comes with 2 caps and 2 lanyards. The caps have a lanyard connection point built in, but come with adhesive connection points as well, so I used the second lanyard on the factory lens cap for my other lens! I'm very happy with the quality and how well it stays on.

Didn't buy for the lanyard piece so no comments on that - the cap does indeed fit, but the pinch seems poorly designed - it's not actually that easy to comfortably pinch/hold it like canon OEM and another aftermarket one I had. It'll do the job, just not well... there are better optionsUPDATED TO 1 STAR: The cap interferes with the lens hood, which means you can't put on or take off the lens hood without removing the lens cap.

This lens cap continually falls off, in the case, as I'm carrying it.... And I can't figure out where to put the security string on the cap. There doesn't seem to be an attachment loop to string it through.. I think I have to return and get a proper Nikon lens cap.

They work at least as good if not better than the OEM ones and you can't lose them!What's not to like about these lens caps?The price is good and they work, so it's a no-brainer.Forget about the sticky stuff, don't use it. Just draw the lanyard string through the available hole.
