Does this tool do bubble flares on 3/8 stainless steel tubing?

Yes it does. tool worked very well for me doing 3/8" stainless steel line. no problems. I dod a double flair though. Just follow the directions and you will get a bubble flair.

Are 37-degree (an) and gm transmission line quick disconnect barb/flare die available, or does it work with others' die?

I believe the 37 degrees does are available but I only have the 45

listing states need a vise? doesn't do you any good if your in the field. anyone make a hand held unit of this quality?

Will this work on soft type l or k copper? i need to flare 3/8 line on rv propane connection?

It is basically a kit for doing 45 degree flares or DIN bubbles. I believe all propane gas line fittings are 45 degrees. It's a great tool.
