Returned because the plane couldnt even fly. I fully charged both batteries and the plane didnt have enough power to stay in the air (not even for a few seconds). Either the provided batteries are not strong enough or the motors do not have enough power.

These kid electronic airplanes are awesome. They have simple operation and are light in weight because of the special foam material. They fly extremely well in normal weather conditions. My son loved them so much so I purchased these for my nephew’s birthday. They fly at a pretty good height! The night navigation lights bring an added affect that’s just really cool. These are great for beginners because the durability stands up to the number of crashes that a young child or newbie would encounter. I highly recommend this plane for any beginner before they invest in a more expensive and elaborate plane. Get the practice flight hours on these and then invest in more expensive planes. These provide great enjoyment.

This plane is light and pretty durable. It comes with 2 batteries. It only has 2 controls (throttle and rudder) so operation is simple. The two main issues I have experienced are that the remote doesn't sync (or what RC pilots refer to as "bind") reliably with the plane. Whenever you turn the plane or remote off, you must re-sync them together, which is a pain, since it takes anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or longer to sync. Sometimes I've left it for several minutes and it never synced successfully. The other issue is the plane is not very responsive. It makes very wide turns so although it is a small plane, you need a very large area to fly it. I tried flying it in my front yard (about 75' x 100' of unobstructed space) and I could not make a sharp enough turn with it. I am an experienced RC pilot. I got this to teach my grandson to fly RC planes but I was hoping for something he could fly in the yard. This won't do it.

flies nicely in an open area the size of a soccer or baseball field, flies even with some wind, take off against the wind if possible, crashing on grass is a good idea, don't crash on concrete or you'll break the props, don't fly it near trees or other obstacles

Great RC replica of the P38 Lightning - A lot of features for the price point. This RC Airplane flies well and it super fun. It is easy to fly but it requires two things: A lot of space and very little wind.It is made from EPP Styrofoam which makes is flexible and bendable and pretty durable. But also making it very light at 1.7oz - hence the issues with wind. A battery will provide about 10 minutes of fly time. Two batteries are included and they take about 40 min to charge. Also included are extra propellers and landing gear. It was straightforward to learn the thumb joysticks on the controller. Overall this is a great RC plane that is fun to fly but you do need a lot of space for it.

Easy to charge and use but you can’t fly in any wind or light wind.
