perfect choice to be install on the back wheel of a mountain bike
I feel like this speed sensor deserves some kudos simply because it is very difficult to find a cyclometer for your bike that can be installed on the rear wheel and that works well. I have a 26" mountain bike that I typically take for a spin thru the year or use for exercising, however during very hot days or even raining or cold days I like to mount my bike on a stationary/ training tool and pedal in place and want to track my speed and pedaled miles. Every speedometer I looked into works well if is on the front wheel because that is the one that typically moves, or most of the new ones now come with GPS tracking which does not work if I'm using the bike in place. Long story short, this speed sensor works and functions well. It comes with 3 pieces, 1 piece goes on the back frame of your wheel, the other piece on the spoke, and one piece goes on the pedal area. The sensor connects easy via bluetooth to the app suggested on the site or the manual (I use the wahoo app and works great). The manual could use small improvements as it is a bit hard to follow. For me the hardest part was to install it correctly, it does take a bit of practice and trial and error a few times. Once you got where it needs to go, you use the zip ties they provide. They also provided a small allen wrench, which I have no clue where it goes as it is not needed. The piece that goes on the frame (the sensor), has a small arm which you can bend back and forth to make it closer to the magnet on the spoke to establish connection. It is easy to know if the pedal piece and the magnet are in range or lined up because the sensor has 2 small lights, a blue and green and as you move the wheel to test, you see the blue light go on, and the pedal when used and the magnet from it gets in range of the sensor, the sensor's green light goes off. Every sensor I have seen requires the sensor and magnet to be within 2-5 millimeters apart, well no issue with this sensor you just bend the small sensor arm as much as needed to be in range. far as battery life, too soon to know as I just got this and have been using for a few weeks, but uses a CR 2032 on the sensor. I would buy this over and over again because it has a very good price compared to all the other cyclometers that can range anywhere from 30-100's of dollars with wireless sensors, and GPS tracking, that mostly work on front wheel only, where this is small, simple and works with stationary bikes and super cheep.

Excellent in function and compatbilty
I had a more expensive Wahoo Speed and Cadence sensor that I used with my IOS Cyclemeter app. It quit working after about 7 or 8 years of use (so I got my money’s worth). This item is significantly less expense, fits perfectly on my bike (perhaps better than the Wahoo) and worked right out of the box with my preferred bike app. Well worth it; happy wirh the purchase.

So far, so good…
I’ve used the older version of Coospo cadence/speed sensor (BK8) which has worked really well on another bike for 5 yrs, but found it’s apparently been replaced with this one-piece unit, so thought I’d give it a try since I recently got a second bike and wanted to use my same cycling app (I use Wahoo fitness app on an old iPhone 4s, a stunt phone dedicated for cycling, since I’m not willing to put my newer iPhone 15 ProMax at risk of getting trashed on a mountain bike, but I carry it safely cocooned in my saddle bag). When the sensor arrived, I found it easy to install with zip ties, and the included instructions were easy enough to follow. They include the same spoke magnet as used on my old bike (my prior one broke and inevitably rotated on the spoke slightly, so I ordered one that didn’t use plastic but metal, made by Cateye and sold on Amazon). I think my prior experience using the older CooSpo model actually created a problem for me, as I initially tried to install it with the battery cover accessible from the outside, when it turns out the newer unit isn’t designed for that, as it has 2 LEDs on the outside to aid installation and alignment of the crank and speed magnets (so the battery door is on the inside, facing towards the wheel). That means it’ll be a bit trickier to replace a battery (CR2032) without also having to move or remove the unit off the bike, so that’s a bizarre user-unfriendly design choice for CooSpo to have made (I’ve replaced batteries on my old bike dozens of times, and it was much easier to do, esp when out on a ride, as it doesn’t require major surgery. That odd design choice is the reason I’m only giving it 4 stars, instead of 5. (I considered installing it upside down so the crank sensor would still work, but it turns out the speed arm would be oriented the wrong way, and it didn’t seem possible to modify the angle of the arm. I considered taking it off, but that wouldn’t have solved anything. That’s a design oversight or step backwards that’s just begging for a fix in a newer version, but it is what it is….) We’ll see how well it holds up over time, as well as its accuracy, but I took it for a test spin and it added as a new sensor to my Wahoo Fitness app (I sync rides using Ride With GPS to add names or notes to rides, so like my older CooSpo sensor, this one is similarly compatible with Wahoo fitness app).

Works perfectly with Polar M460
Needed a sensor replacement to my Polar M460 cycling computer. Didn't want to spend too much as the M460 is no longer supported by Polar but it is by far the easiest cyclocomputer I've used. This sensor works from the get-go, paired within seconds, the readouts are quite accurate, they fit my bike (old Specialized Tarmac S-Werks), I couldn't be happier. Longevity? I've used this for over 3 years, without a hitch. Highly recommended. I can't tell you you won't receive a lemon unit but should be easy to replace based on the vendor's reputation. I'd definitely buy again if needed.

Quality, durable product… Easy to connect!
Worked out of the box! Easy mountain, just followed the instructions and everything fit and was easy to set up and use. Has great accuracy so far, looks like it's very well made so it should be adorable product as well. Set up was particularly easy just follow those instructions and you shouldn't have any problem with it. I love this product. I absolutely love the feel of it. I love the functionality of it, the functionality, it was easy to mount and and feels like a durable products as well as having a great price.

I've been using this cycling speed and cadence sensor for over 100 km, and overall, it’s a solid performer with some room for improvement. Installation & Setup: Installing the sensors was straightforward and took less than 15 minutes, thanks to the tools and zip ties included in the box. I was initially skeptical about the locking mechanism of the speed sensor on the spoke, but it has held up well so far, even on bumpy roads. Pairing the device with my Wahoo Element Roam via ANT+ was effortless, which added to the positive experience during setup. Performance: Once paired, the sensors provided accurate and consistent data, enhancing my cycling experience. The cadence sensor was particularly helpful in fine-tuning my pedaling rhythm. However, I struggled to connect the sensors via Bluetooth, which was disappointing as I wanted to use the device with multiple apps and devices. Build Quality & Design: The sensors are lightweight and unobtrusive, making them ideal for long rides. They also feel durable and seem well-made, though time will tell how they fare under extended use. Pros: Easy installation with all necessary tools included. Reliable ANT+ connectivity with my cycling computer. Secure locking mechanism for the speed sensor. Compact and lightweight design. Cons: Bluetooth connectivity issues remain unresolved. The locking mechanism might need a confidence boost initially. Final Thoughts: This sensor is a great choice for cyclists who primarily use ANT+ connectivity and appreciate a quick, easy setup process. However, if Bluetooth is a must for your setup, you may want to look for alternative options or ensure troubleshooting steps are in place. Rating: 4/5

I bought this speed and cadence sensors. At first both sensors were working fine. But within a week the cadence sensor has stopped working. Tried resetting it but to no avail. Unable to reach the company for fixing now that the return period is over. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Worst unreliable sensors . Don’t ever buy anything magnet based .
