I needed hog ring pliers for a one off job and didn't want to pay more than I needed to. These were perfect, nothing fancy, cheap but seem we'll made. Individual rings are a bit fiddly to work with but no big deal. Very happy, job done 200+ rings securely fastening the chicken wire on my new coop together, and now at the bottom of my tool box just in case they're ever needed again.

Great value and works perfectly.

Erecting a wire netting fence (77 feet long). I put 4 main wires through the entire lenght,using strainers, and attaching the netting to the wire with the pliers and grommets. I thought the product was very good for the price.....easy to use and had a professional finish to the job.

I bought this to clip 200m of stock fence where the lowest tension wire was sometimes sunk in earth or autumn leaves, and I didn't think a cartridge clipper would be manoeuvrable enough.Pro: gets to the awkward spots; the spring keeps the clip in the jaws while you fiddle around.Con: does a perfect clip less than 20% of the time. Sometimes the clip just springs out of the jaws and gets lost; most often, the ends of the clip hit each other or the opposite jaw and won't close properly, so you have to turn the clip around, re-site the jaws, and try again.Takes much longer than with a cartridge clipper, which is frustrating on a 200m fence but might be acceptable for something a lot shorter.
