Works very well!
First the item was recieved in very good condition. And the shipping was fast. It was smaller than expected and very light and portable. Can easily fit into your pocket, daypack, or b.o.b and comes with caps on both ends so no dirt, sand or bugs get in there. This thing filters puddle water from the street! I know because i tried! I wold not hesitate using it for any kind of water you find. Only filters about 25L of water but thats fine for the amount of contaminants it filters! Reccomend for every emergency kit 1 per person!

Great Product
I really like my new filter straw; it's compact and efficient, and I like that it can fit in a pocket or pack, plus the fact that it's got such a long life. I haven't used it yet, but it helps me feel more secure.

THREE DAYS WITHOUT WATER
Its fairly compact and light weight. Great item to add to a survival or hiking pack. I Haven't had to drink out of any suspect water sources yet, so I can't comment on how efficiently it works. I think its more of an item you buy and keep for survival situations. Hopefully I'll never use it, but might try it out next time I hiking and come upon a mountain stream. It's a good insurance policy against going thirsty in any emergency, be it, lost in the woods or hit by a hurricane or power grid failure. Always best to be prepared. Remember the rule of threes: you can only survive for three minutes without air, THREE DAYS WITHOUT WATER, and three weeks without food.

It works very well (or so it seems)
Sucking isn't my thing, but I like to suck on this. If you're into medium-pressured sucking on small round inanimate objects with the intention of usurping liquid contents from a contaminated source, then this is the product for you. It is available to those on a budget, and even those with prophetic problems. Let your mind go to ease as you suckle on the tip of a retro-style military colored sucking straw that even a sniper would have a hard time focusing on. (Snipers destroying water filters is an up and coming epidemic propagated by mindless shellfish consuming invertebrates)The disadvantages: It's so small you might lose it in a large packing container. You'll find it, but you also might lose it first. Technically, there are pint-sized water containers and filters for a very similar price to this that may or may not do the job just as effectively whilst allowing many members to drink from a container you carry around. I'll keep this, and I'll use it when I feel like I should use it because I kept it for use. I'd buy another but I don't have to for 25 gallons of spontaneous water consumption in nature

As expected
Have not had an opportunity to use it yet, but it's an excellent add on for the go bag. Yep.
