Just replaced. Fixed my inner tail light problem but now im getting a reverse lamp malfunction on the screen. Any input?

I replaced two inner lights and one outer on my x3. I didn’t get that message. Wonder if it is a matter of cleaning out the error messages. I’ve done that after replacing thermostat and water pump. Of course important part is reverse lamp working correctly.

Will this work in a 2016 bmw x1?

I used on 2012 x3 but the lights on x1 look similar so I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. I say odds are they would. Look at video tubed where they show process and you can follow to check the boards in your car that you would be replacing.

Does this "rear led light repair replacement board tail light led chip" solve a problem with a brake light out?

This helped on my wife's 2012 bmw x3 with all of the tail light issues. Both rear side light and the ones on the lift gate.
