quality of smallest parts
The smallest flaring adapter pin bent the first time I used it. Straightened it out the best I could and it did a good enough job I hope. I was using it for 3/16 line.

Nice brake line flaring tool
This flaring tool worked well on some soft copper 1/4 inch tubing. You will need to have the tubing extend slightly past the tool surface, then tighten the clamp screws and then you spin the flaring cone into the tube opening to form the flare... very simple to use.

Good Value
Easy to use (it doesn't come with instructions, but is very intuitive), and able to handle lines from the smallest up to 5/8". The tool is well made, heavy, and looks good. It should hold up well to hobbyists or even professional use. A great addition to the toolbox.
